Silk Song's the obvious one. At this point I'm optimistically hoping that they're just holding it to launch with the Switch 2. Couldn't blame them for taking the bag, even though I think Silk Song was technically a stretch goal on their original HK crowdfunding campaign.

That's copium though, who knows what's going on with that game.

PS: Killzone and/ or SOCOM - there is no doubt, imo, Collin’s info was not bad. They were working on one if not both of these, wtf happened to them?

I know they were going to release it on the 32x and did release it on the Capcom home arcade thing but I guess licencing prevents them from porting and releasing it on other home consoles.

I mean something has been stopping them, it's by far the most requested game and if they just did a lazy emulator rom port it would be easy money.

Disney now own the Alien and Predator IP. Capcom have a decent relationship with Disney, so I see now reason why it can't happen.

If the Capcom board need to suck off Bob Iger to make this happen then they better start putting on the lip gloss. Make it happen. No excuses now!

We've had confirmation that RE0 and Code Veronica Remakes are being worked on by leakers and IGN confirming the leaks. And we also know RE9 has been in development for a while. Seeing as how it's been almost two years since RE4R, I'm genuinely surprised we haven't seen a new Resident Evil game yet.

Amen! The fact that it hasn't yet is pretty wild. I honestly just assumed it has something to do with licensing. I hope they can pull it off at some point. They need to, it's too good.

The FFIX and FF Tactics remakes have been talked about for year(s) now.

It's also long overdue for a new RE game announcement. Capcom usually hasn't been radio silent 2~ years between releases for announcing the next game. RE4 remake released in March '23.

What is it now? 17 years in early access?

I'm surprised that Tim Soret still spends 19 hours per day on twitter when everybody is screaming for some progress on The Last Night.

I'm surprised that nothing has been seen of Contraband since that initial teaser trailer.

It's because they're pushing Monster Hunter Wilds.

After Monster Hunter releases they will finally have to move on from their monthly monster hunter trailers.

I was going to say Metroid Prime 4, and then I remembered there was a short trailer. It was just so underwhelming that I forgot about it.

Although, that's happened before with lame early trailers of Nintendo games that later actually proved incredible at release, so who knows.

Does Capcom have the capacity to do Monster Hunter Wilds, RE9, RE Remake, AND Onimusha 2? I think it makes sense that their pipeline is shrinking a bit.

It took them like 9 years to make Rise of the Ronin... I don't expect a game from them for some time.

Very well could have been cancelled. Lots of things probably tripping up Wolverine.

  • I said from the outset that Wolverine would be a challenging game for Insomniac who is better know for their gadget circles with ranged weapons. To create a game that is going to be primarily melee? That's going to be a tough ask for them. They shouldn't have done the game in the first place. Santa Monica would have been better off. Making Wolverine's combat interesting for 16 hours is going to be a tough thing to do. That's why you throw in Jean Gray, but now you're also looking at a lot of negative animosity to side characters.
  • Voice acting strike named Insomniac as an effected studio.
  • Tony Todd passing probably didn't make it easy to complete Venom.
