Why hasn’t Oblivion Remastered been patched yet?

My brother can't complete a main quest with require ghosts to make the dialogue. Since this he stop playing a time ago.

Why has Silent Hill 2 Remake not been patched yet to fix all the graphics issues, I can ask also. It's quite simple, as with Oblivion Remastered, developers simply don't give a shit anymore. They already got their money, and they won't say it out loud but basically "Fuck you, you'll buy the next shit we release as well."

We're back to just being hyped for Skyblivion.

Shadow drop on this was a stroke of genius. Trailers would have been picked apart and publicly clocked as the low effort cash grab that it is. We're gonna be eating soon, this was just a weird detour on the way.

I believe you, but even after 40+ hours (PC) I can't say I've been frustrated yet. What kind of bugs are we talking about here?

I'd wait for the unofficial patch mod.

The bugs you're experiencing are probably nineteen years old. Don't hold your breath. Especially don't expect any semblance of gameplay balance.

It's a Bethesda game, it's two engines stitched together, it's GamePass fodder, don't expect tons of support. They're going to collect bug reports and feature requestrs for a month or two, issue one big patch, and move on.

Most of Starfield's launch bugs are barely fixed so we're living on Bethesda's Timer here. It took them what, a month or two to add the gamma slider to Starfiield?

You do know the game is done, and the so called bugs you talk about are features, not bugs, right?

Like any other Bethesda game.

They are waiting for modders to fix it, its the Bethesda way. It took several months for them to launch a patch after a game breaking bug literally brought down performance to 1 fps on the ps3 in skyrim and the vampire quest bug that prevented you from progressing.
The game doesn't have mods.

Most of the complaints are for the PS5 version it seems like. I got it for Xbox on GP. Bethesda have been Xbox supporters since Morrowind so they favor the platform, I believe.

jfc I just looked it up and that is terrible. Of course it was hard to hear any of that during the surprise launch hype. I hadn't been paying much attention and was just thinking about playing it.

By now, i have to put the blame on gamers if they keep buying Bugthesda games on console. I bought Skyrim on PS3, huge mistake. Years later i found the game + expansions on Steam for 10€ and double dipped, i still found bugs that were not even present in the PS3 version, the difference is that i was able to get fixes for all the bugs cuz the mod community.

they created a frankenstein using two of the worst performing engines, good luck waiting for any meaningful patch.
on pc you can try many of the placebo mods i guess

Didn't DF report the game's performance slowly gets worse and worse as you play on a save file? That needs to be fixed first.
This. I am like 75 hours into my save and it is unplayable, haven't played the game in like 3 weeks.

I used to crash every now and then, or I would load to many new screens too quickly and that could cause the load screen to just sit there forever and I would have to kill the game. Now I can't play for 15 minutes without the game crashing, often my entire PC crashing. Feels like a memory leak.

Started playing Avowed instead, may be hard to go back to Oblivion if they ever fix it.

Funny thing is that Oblivion on PS3 was actually improved over its Xbox 360 cousin (they did hand it off to a studio with PS3 expertise and brought it back InHouse I think for Skyrim).
