Games where you control real animals

Real as in non-anamorphic / non humanoid animals like Crash Bandicoot and Ratchet and clank.

Away: The Survival Series

Bad Mojo

Mister Mosquito

In Jurassic Park: The Lost World you could play as some of the dinosaurs

Man Eater

In the most recent Assassin's Creed games you can control a hawk or eagle to scout locations and enemies. It's supposed to be a simple gameplay tool, but you can fly across the entire map if you really wanted, pretty cool.

I don't know how I could forget it:

Donkey Kong

Then there is also The Falconeer

More on the cartoon side, but there is

Sheep Dog N Wolf

The Bugs Bunny games

A Bug's Life

Bonus game: Snake 😂

Games aren't real. There are no real animals, nor humans, in any game.

But probably that giraffe racing game.
I disagree. Lightbulbs in videogames are real, as they consume electricity and produce light. Therefore, games are real.

You don't really control Trico but it has has most realistic animal animation I have seen in video game.

Ecco was scary..

When I swam up to that octopus I almost shit my pants.

Not quite real animals, but still, a decent animal related game.

I actually refained from posting this because of the "real animal" thing. But yes everyone who has played will no doubt remember Space Station Silicon Valley. The Turtle Tank is one of my favourite things ever in a game.

I'd take a remake or sequel anytime, that shit was fun.
