Games you want to see coming to Nintendo Switch 2

We know we are getting sequels to first party Nintendo stuff so that's a given.

I want to see a few 'impossible ports', the new Doom, a new Forza, GTA6, etc

And as for older stuff that can be ported, personally I'd love the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy to make an appearance. Or a remastered Mario All Stars.

I would think they’ll get all the RE remakes eventually along with 7 and 8 and eventually 9. But a new side game would be cool. I don’t really care about what ports it’ll get since the pc versions are better anyway. New stuff is what would get me interested in a S2.

It’s already on/announced for Switch 2? Guess I missed it among everything else.
No but it's already on Switch 1, I doubt they'll port it again

Heh, posted the same trailer in the Genshin OT earlier today.

Also, with all the Switch 2 talk this week, I remember when HoYo was planning to release the game for the OG Switch, but they never actually did (I presume due to porting difficulties because the game was already running pretty ass on base PS4).

Now I wonder if they have plans to release a Switch 2 version of Genshin this year. 🤔

AAA Zelda game, at least two eventually with the art style of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, or the HD Zelda WII U tech demo.

New Mario Party game that'll be as awesome and chaotic as the N64 Mario Party 3 again.

2 more Metroid Prime games after Metroid Prime 4 for a new trilogy.

This would be what I wish for eventually but I'll still buy the Switch 2 once I see their next AAA Zelda since at that time, the next Mario Party or Metroid might be out too.

This times a million with this art style…

I think game that would be really good addiction to switch2 library would be forza horizon5.
We know it ran great on xbox one/s and scales really well from highend pc/series x to weaker series s.
Ninny lack first or even 3rd party this kind of racer with actual real cars, its not super realistic but realistic enough to be clear distinction from mario kart.

Here example of how it looks/scales to weaker/older xbox consoles, still looks really good so we can be sure it would look and play amazing on switch2 too:

This is going to be boring for you because it's only first party games or exclusives with collaborations.

- New 3D Zelda like TotK but with real dungeons...like 8-10 of them.
- New side scroller Zelda like AoL on the NES
- New collectathon like DK64/Banjo
- 2D Metroid
- Challenging Turn based Mario RPG

A proper new F-Zero

Playable Earthbound 64 (complete or not i.e like with Star Fox 2 for the SNES Classic)

More GameCube games (some of the Mario Party games, Ikaruga, RE1 Remake, Viewtiful Joe games, Eternal Darkness, PNO3, Killer 7 etc.)

More 3P exclusives if they only end up existing due to Nintendo involvement (Tomba 3, Sin & Punishment 3, Guardian Heroes 2, a new Cruis'n game etc.)

No need to ask for new Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Smash etc. because those are guaranteed to happen, likely quite soon in some cases.

They need to bring back them top down ones (I love the remakes of those btw lol)

but I do wish they would make more of the top down ones
3D or top down is fine but I just want something more like an average Zelda game instead of complete open world.

Ever since mouse functionality was rumored, I've been waiting for a Kid Icarus: Uprising HD remake. That game is too good to be stuck on 3DS forever. I'm hopeful though, because I think Nintendo will definitely be looking to bring a steady stream of Gamecube and 3DS remakes to the system.

As far as new and non-Nintendo games, a lot of the ones I've been hoping to see have already been announced: Split Fiction, Silksong, Borderlands 4, etc. A mainline CoD would be solid. The Oblivion remake would also be awesome for nostalgia. A GTA 6 port would be amazing, but more for the mamas and online drama than the game itself. Lol.

New Monolith Soft game

New Kid Icarus Uprising

Astral Chain 2 (Switch 2 Edition of original Astral Chain)

New Fire Emblem game

New 3D Mario game

New Zelda game

New Yoko Taro game exclusive to Switch 2:messenger_beaming:

And hopefully new Vanillaware game.
Apart from the Icarus stuff I'm totally on board with your picks!

I'd love to see a Splatoon universe singleplayer roguelike by Nintendo

And a Pokemon Warriors type of game.

As a dad that can play short bursts, I want them all to be on SW2.

I was playing my Portal just now and the connection dropped from my PS5, I’m thinking that maybe power went out for a second and came back, but now, of course, I can’t play.

I want Metroid.

A 3D 3rd person Metroid, not Prime. Prime concept has been done and redone and MP4 brings nothing new to the table. Not hyped.

At least I have a new 3D DK with Bananza, and the game is trying new things and looks interesting, despite the artistic direction that should be more inspired from DKC to please me. Hyped.

Duskblood is multiplayer (not really hyped then...) and very surprising considering Nintendo tends to use their IPs to other developers. It's one of the biggest missed opportunity for Metroid.

I want to see Earthbound, at least a remake or a new 3D episode, but it seems unlikely considering Itoi seemingly doesn't want to work on it anymore...

Zelda AlltP remake is one of my dreams, the new one might be years away, so it could be a good opportunity.

The teased Action-RPG from Monolith Soft, I'd love tem to try something else than Xenoblade.
A game more in line with Matsuno's work in terms of maturity and themes instead of the fan service and shonen themes of Xenoblade games.

Zelda: Twilight Princess HD y Wind Waker Deben Llegar A Switch - YouTube

I don't care that gamecube is on NSO+ with wind waker, give me the HD port! reeeee
I still have my WiiU Twilight Princess HD which came with the Amibo. It's still factory sealed. I think they want well over $100 for it nowadays and I think I only paid around $60 for it a few years ago.
