I've set PSP format as my media preference, not that I have a PSP, but such a resolution in h.264 should be just right for my computer to handle, but All I get with download links are the 320x240 mpg versions.

where are the .mp4 clips!?

How very nice of you, but it still puzzls me. take your PSP encoded GT5 video, wich I'm downloading right now, I went back to GS, dug up the trailer there and bam! no PSP version! the filename has the usual wm tag in it, so I know it's windows media and not PSP.

anyone been able to actually get mp4 vids out of GS?

It's disappointing, if anything all the major videogame sites should be at the forefront of providing supporting for .mp4 video files.... at the very least just in their PSP sections.... or just for PSP games...

its not that hard to diy. I think for the PSP format to truly take off, you'd need great proliferation.

well for me, no, it's not hard to do it myself, just pop vid in VLC and set it to output an h.264 mp4 file, but the thing is, my computer SUCKS! so it's LONG!

Files pre encoded in h.264 @ 480x272 would be perfect to have enough detail (given enough bitrate, that GT4 vid was kinda blocky-ish, maybe because it was an encode of an encode...) and not make my machine chug.
