gamestop.com now taking psp preorders

Atleast ebgames.com as of now lets you pick your three games from a list, those bundles from gamestop.com kinda suck :|

If Lumines, RR, and MGA are all available at launch, i wouldn't mind buying three games

Also, aren't the games supposed to be $30-40?

Anyway, online has aways been a bit harsher than in the store as far as bundling goes.

DS games. Everyone else seems to be excited that the PSP games are more expensive. Heck, that EA interview even stated they thought PSP would be the most profitable platform of all the current/coming platforms (Higher retail and lower development costs.) They were downright giddy about this fact.

Right, I do remember Sony talking about how their prices would be "competitive with the DS"

but $50, man, >:(

They're gonna trick lots of people into putting money down for the GTA bundles, then release a retraction, while still tightly gripping their deposits.

Hmm... I pre-ordered mine from a local Gamestop store. I wonder if they'll call to tell me I have to buy a bundle now, or if I'll still be able to get one without. I planned on picking up two games anyway, and possibly a third depending on what is available at release.

I was planning on picking up MGA and RR anyway, and Lumines (if it makes launch), so that doesn't have me terribly upset. What's pissing me off a bit is that it looks more and more like the games are going to be $50.

Just checked out the bundles and there are a couple that I could live with for sure, but $380 seems rather steep. They must be counting on the system selling at $200, $50 per game, and maybe $30 for the "starter kit". I don't mind buying a decent bundle when I get a system, but there seems to be a premium on the system and games. I wonder if they'll drop the prices on these bundles when official pricing is released. Sony could easily announce a $180 price point for the PSP and $40 per game which would put a bundle more in the $330 range including the starter kit. Guess we still wait for Sony to make it's announcement.

the DS games were $50 before the offical prices were annouced

This is why I'm waiting for SCEA to officially announce some info before preordering a PSP. 50 bucks a game? My god. I hope EA PSP titles crash and burn if they charge that much but I know they won't.

I'll be shocked if the games are $50 a piece when Sony drops the final details. I'd also be surprised if the system were $200. I was thinking more in the $180 range, although I'd love to see the $150 predictions come to be true. :)

But there's sales tax buying in-store; plus, there's this chore of doing human contact!

i mean, yeah, if you're a shut in, sure, buy it online

but i like skipping work to pick new systems up the minute EB opens.
