I just can't get over the 360 and PS3 now being "retro".
that can't be right...Well .. The X360 is going to turn 20 next year.
My friend is dating a Gen Z gal and we were all out to lunch a few weeks ago and the topic of 9/11 got brought up. She said "Oh yeah, we studied that in history class!" I have never actually felt my age until that very moment. We all laughed about it, but I also died inside.that can't be right...

For some generations, definitely. I collect for OG Xbox atm and that's still relatively affordable. Saturn and Gamecube are insane, Dreamcast I have almost given up on, and you can never trust people to package those games well enough.Isn't Retrogaming already overpriced?
Nah at least AI would make something better than some kid who made that in photoshop xDProbably the same AI that wrote the Game Informer farewell message.
Nobodys walking into the regular stores looking for a WiiU shelf to peruse. So it makes sense here.>Wii U
>retro
What are we even doing here?

Yeah i would buy a lot of GC games from them 5 years ago or so when they ran too good to be true deals and returned at least 33% of them because they didn't work. And then they flagged me for returning too much stuff. No thanks
Their used stuff now is always in such terrible condition. Also, I imagine that the majority of the things they'll sell will not have cases/boxes/etc., so just loose. Will they actually be testing this stuff thoroughly before selling it? For old cartridge based games, will they be verifying authenticity (there are a lot of fakes on the market now) or swapping out aging CMOS save batteries? Are they going to resurface (i.e. "more quickly degrade") the CD and DVD based games to make them playable?
Honestly, GameStop is the last company I would trust to do any of these things correctly.
