I have a hard time seeing how it could be considered better than Witcher 3's A Night to Remember trailer or the Persona 5 reveal trailer.

The narration is part of what made it great. Particularly because it's in part describing FF7 and in part telling people that this is going to be different, so don't expect something as simple as FF7 with prettier graphics.

Yeah, I get what they were going for but the dialogue itself just doesn't flow very well if you ask me.

Kinda strange to see Dancing All Night even nominated for best handheld game. It's got a good soundtrack, nice visuals and a decent story, but it's pretty clear that Atlus doesn't know how to make good beatmaps cause pretty much all of them in that game are just plain bad. Sometimes it feels like the button prompts don't even have anything to do with the song being played, as if they just randomly picked some buttons you need to press.

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX is the far better rhythm game, but not everyone is into vocaloid music so I can get why it wouldn't be on there.

Good picks outside of that though.

Yeah, some of the songs are just odd with how they want you to hit the buttons. Some are good, others make no sense at all.

I'm more confused as to why it's nominated for best strategy game. Invisible Inc poops on that game from great height and that's not even nominated. Probably more a consequence of them just not playing everything though.
