I liked that don highlighted the sega 3d classics in his best of 2015 video as the rest of the staff glosses over the 3ds library. It was a horrible capture as those games looked horrible though
(I'm currently playing shinobi and can attest to it not looking that bad)
.
I also liked ian's video however short it was. Can't wait to see the rest of the staff's videos.
- Undertale
- Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
- Overwatch
- Bloodborne (Top Pick)
If I put a spoiler tag, people complain, if I don't put a spoiler tag, people complain. Mods seems to be more on the side of NO spoiler tag, so I'm not putting them.
Good new batch of videos. I've guessed and hadn't disagreed with their picks so far.
I knew once the order showed up it'd rile people up. That was a push by Huber. No doubt.
Also enjoyed brads video.
Their GOTY will be down to Bloodborne vs Witcher. With Ian on one side and Blood on the other. I think in the end Bloodborne will win. It's what they've all talked about the most all year.
The difference between an action adventure and a third person shooter is so strange every year.
There is a shit ton of shooting in Tomb Raider, while I can see that in MGS V this can be very playstyle influenced. But Tomb Raider has long forced segments like The Order.

Yeah, it can be a judgment call. That's why I decided to schedule them for the same day. So people aren't left wondering why some games weren't nominated.

That makes sense. In my head I was moving Tomb Raider to the other list of nominees and imagining one of the games in the intro of action/adventure to fill out the now fifth free spot.
Also Blood, I need a small hint for overall GOTY. Nobody will know, we can speak in code.

GOTY: Super Mario Maker

- Bloodborne
- Star Craft II: Legacy of the Void
- The Witcher III: Wild Hunt
Best Soundtrack is... interesting, to say the least.
These people have garbage taste when it comes to music. That's a fact. Undertale and Hotline Miami 2 not even nominated? AssCrud wins? CoD is in the running?
It is curious to see CoD and FFXIV over it, but I'm going by reputation alone, since I haven't played (and have no intention to play) any of the three.

Hotline Miami usually relies on licensed music, which should be at least be judged in a separate category (if at all).
And that shot at Assassin's Creed makes zero sense, since the series has had some amazing soundtracks in the past, and this one was done by Wintory, which won best soundtrack for Journey even on GAF.
