Can any 1uppers share exactly what gamevideos.com is going to be? I'm imagining a sort of You Tube for video games with user contributed video of both old and new games. This sort of service could be very cool, especially if the videos are ipod/psp compatible.

Yup. It'll host original content (1up Show, and others), be a youtube and google video for games, as well as feature a shitload of exclusive stuff you'll just love to explore and play around with when the site launches. I watch the gamevideos.com guys (lead by Mark Mac) work their asses off every day in loading the site with all this content and it blows me away how much good stuff it's going to launch with.

You know what's odd? A year or so ago I purchased gamevideos.net thinking I would do some kinda service like that. Obviously it didn't pan out, but I still got the domain.

Still, hopefully their service will offer more than gametrailers.

From what's been spelled out so far in this thread it does sound promising.

It seems more an extension of Filefront, as that's where they're storing/pushing big files now. :X
