I by no means claim to have played many new games this year:

1. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
2. Pokemon FireRed
3. Metroid Prime 2
4. Donkey Konga
5. Pikmin 2
6. WarioWare Inc.: Mega Party Game$
7. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
8. Second Sight
9. Super Mario 64 DS
10. Pool Paradise (gimme a break, I liked it!)
 
I almost feel for participating in this, because I haven't played A LOT of game that were released in Nov/Dec. But anyway....

1) Half Life 2
2) World of Warcraft
3) Unreal Tournament 2004
4) Madden
5) GTA:SA
6) Vampire the Masquerade, Bloodlines
7) Rome Total War
8) Halo 2
9) Burnout 3
10) Call of Duty: UO

I have a feeling that MGS3, KOTOR2, R&C3, Pirates, and maybe Paper Mario 2 would have been on my list somewhere had I gotten around to them.

Edit: How could I forget GTA?!?

you ok dark? when's the last time you saw twin snakes? MGS3 sneaks up behind TTS with camo index of 95% and slits it's throat before it knew what hit it.

I think he's talking about CVXFREAK's list. I'm glad to see that MGS3 is owning this thread...too bad it doesn't represent the sales numbers. :P

Yeah, I'm talking about CVX's list. He handed Twin Snakes more points, which suggests that he preferred it. As you said, "MGS3 sneaks up behind TTS with camo index of 95% and slits it's throat before it knew what hit it". :D
 
If any of you three console owners ever need extra justification for your purchases, of the 76 titles in Anihawk's tabulations so far, only 7 are available on all three platforms.

money is the only factor. if you cant afford all 3 consoles, you jst cant. simple as that.

I could probably afford it if I really wanted to, but I'm happy with my one console. There are more than enough games on each. I'm just saying I can see why people would want all 3. And yeah, plenty of people can only afford 1, if that.

Metal Gear Solid 3 can't be as good as you guys are saying. It's all just a ploy to trick me into playing some half written, poorly conceptualized manga-esque trash. Trash with excellent gameplay, no doubt, but trash nonetheless.

But I'm like the Who and George W. Bush. CAN'T GET FOOLED AGAIN!

Do you mean Wario Ware GameCube? The GBA version is almost a year and a half old.

But seriously, it is the best game of this year. Arguably, the best of any year.

Give it a rental over the holidays. After about 5 hours or so, you'll become.... one of us! One of us! One of us!
