Gaming PC wins!

I'm finally going to gaming PC. I noticed after 18 years of being a Apple mac guy I always took about 10 minutes to adjust the settings so it works like Windows. I seriously can't believe that I didn't notice that after so many freaking years. I also console guy for years. PS12345, all the Xboxes, all the Nintendo. I have 18 consoles now. Well I just bought a gaming PC and I will be a PC gamer forever now! You can't get better graphics than on PC!

Fucken brilliant lol

I’m snorting laughter in bed looking at my phone with this thread.
My wife: “why are you laughing?”

How the heck can I explain GAF, let alone GAF lore, to someone who has no interest and doesn’t care?

So it begins with this guy who had PS12345…

You still got $1000s in debt like the last 10 times you made this fucking thread?

Can I know the backstory about the tag?

It's probably just from the fact the dude has made like 20 threads talking about switching to PC over and over and over again. He also states that he is like $5K in credit card debt but still wants to get a PC but then by the end of every thread basically decides not to.

What time is it?
I look forward to your next thread asking how much you should sell your gaming PC for.

How is the truth of your debt, Dave?

wow! We had a guy like this in a forum of old. Turns out the guy was in meds for something that looked like schizophrenia or something like that. He provided invaluable entertainment content as well.

Imagine having gone through that when all you had to do was show her this gif to explain GAF:

Not that I have a great gaming PC, but it is a 7700X + 3080 so it's more powerful than the Pro/Series X and yet I still prefer to game on the X or Pro before my PC because it's just a nicer setup. Stalker 2 is the first game in a while that even though I'd rather play on my Series X on my TV. I'd be missing out not playing it on PC. I've just started the game via PC Gamepass, I'm not sure if it's due to the recent Nvidia driver update/patches or whatever but I'm getting decent performance so far running DLSS Quality @1440p.

The new mac mini M4 is the ultimate console, nothing even comes close, but unfortunately there are no games for it...

Windows 11 is the place to be if you like video games tho...

Did you get a pre-build or laptop ?

This guy is selling and buying hardware almost as frequently as I am. You guys should thank me for not making a new thread everytime my stupid brain tells me to go buy some new gadget. By the way, I also don't have any debt. Not a single cent.

Now, you can't think about switching anymore and start buying actual games.
Um, but there's this as well.
Reasons not to own a gaming PC or an Xbox Series X.
#1. Some games on Windows require mouse and keyboard for menus and settings. While some games have no controller support at all! Only consoles have 100% controller support for every game!
#2. On steam I only own 44 games. 41 of them I already own on PlayStation consoles. 3 of them are PC exclusives but I seriously don’t care about.
#3. On Xbox Series X I own 143 games I already own or can have on PlayStation consoles. I own 19 exclusives but have already played them in the past anyway.
#4. I own over 500 games across PlayStation 1, 2, 3, 4, 5! Why own other consoles and PC? Besides Nintendo anyway.
#5. While Windows does contain a more likable interface with the taskbar, it lacks iMovie, Photo Booth, Time Machine, Calendar, Stickies, Text Edit, and Launchpad for all applications. All applications which I love to use and are only for Mac.
#6. Consoles are at the point where graphics are the same as a gaming PC. Therefore there is no point to own a gaming PC.
#7. While I like the Xbox controller, that doesn’t give reason enough to own the console that has no exclusive games anymore.
#8. Windows has issues like malware, viruses, slow downs, hacking, blue screens of death, DLL errors, and sudden black screens.
#9. Games on Windows have issues with DirectX, Unreal Engine, modders, multiplayer games with users using keyboard and mouse, DLL errors, exe errors and much more.
#10. I’ve also had issues with Xbox Series X where it has slowed down, freezing screens, black screens, won’t change my background, won’t change my color, won’t change my avatar, and all of the sudden controller doesn’t work at all. I’ve had three Xbox Series X consoles and these issues happened on all three of them.
#11. Frame rates aren't a big deal as really only matter in multi player games. Which I choose not to play anymore because you don't earn any trophies in multi player. So there is really no need to get a Windows gaming PC as I don't care about frame rates in games. I care about the video visual quality more.

I appreciate the response, be in the Tech industry, have you heard anything about Hacintosh?

Buy the best pc configuration which is epic from AMD, install Mac os by following the steps you could find online. Use double boot option for installing windows, now you won't complain about having different setups and use your favorite os on the same machine.

I don't think you're stupid, guys like you must be in the Tech industry or follow the same passion. The best thing about Linux and Mac os is whatever in your mind you could absolutely do it %100.

You shouldn't worry about ethics cause you must at least own Macintosh to do the process, otherwise, it's unethical.
