Garbage Pail Kids!

Was going through my storage bin and found some I must have had when I was like 12. Anybody remember these?

Ah...the early 90's...when we actually went outside AND had to have patience to collect things!

Flood of memories of buying these after school. Me and my brothers had loads of them.

The smell of the gum inside.

I only know it was a counter for the Cabbage Patch Kids, and I saw the Nostalgia Critic review of the movie, which Doug Walker considers the worst movie he's ever seen.

Sure do. A while back at work I mentioned them to my twentysomething friends and they all gave me weird looks. Grew up in a cave I guess.

Loved them dearly. Tried watching the movie again not too long ago, holy fuck at how god awful it is.

I thought they were long gone by the '90s, I remember them from like third grade in the mid-'80s.

I was also a little wiener and thought they were bad and gross.

I had a shoebox full of them. My favorite one that I had was Adam Bomb and some other one that was playing a guitar and getting struck by lightning. First series. I gave em all away a few years ago.

I've got a card box with a hundred of them somewhere. I always liked the kid with pimples everywhere on his face with pus oozing out of some of them.

I used to have a ton of these but had to give them away to someone in exchange for a tape that would have ruined my friend's chances at winning a comptroller election in philly.

My wife and I grew up together as kids (we're 35), she still has a TON of these in a big box somewhere around here. They were the first big controversy I can remember at school, in like 2nd or 3rd grade (so roughly 1985-1986). Teachers would take them away if you got caught with them so they were banned.
