I got the look for a peter parker

Isn't Morales black hispanic?

Glover would be great as Morales or maybe John Boyega, but I think they'll use Peter Parker on the movies.
Morales is around 13-14, Glover is 31. He looks young, sure, but he's beyond reason for Miles. Plus Marvel stated Peter Parker by name in the press release.

And like I said before, Glover got to voice Miles Morales in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, so he did get some sort of consolation prize form Marvel.

He's 39, and almost everyone wants a seasoned Spidey. What's the problem?
Marvel wants a younger Spider-Man, & Toby is connected to the OG Sony movies. At least with J.K. Simmons, Jamerson was ignored in the ASM movies & Simmons got to reprise his role in the Ulitmate Spider-Man cartoon. Marvel wants a completely clean slate with a high school Peter Parker not only because Marvel needs a compelling young hero, but also because they want to future-proof Peter Parker.

I look white, well Brazilians are not hispanic or spanish so I guess I am white

but me for peter parker

It's not going to be Miles Morales, Jesus Christ. The general audience has no fucking idea who that is and no one associates him with Spider-man.

The general audience cares more about Spider-man than Peter Parker. Miles Morales would definitely cause controversy
because he's black
, but they could replace Peter Parker with some other dude and most people won't give a shit.

Didn't know Morales was that young.. but anyway I think Peter Parker is the best choice.

Put me on #TeamTobey, but I love those original movies so much, at least the first two.

If they are looking for someone younger, Logan Lerman?

it will probably be Josh Hutcherson - he's a really good actor, and he's big enough that I can see a studio exec believing he can shoulder the franchise, but not so big that he costs BIG $$$ yet.

Yuck...I like him but what a terrible choice.

drag ha. LOL

the ONLY WAY they could/would ever do this is if the Spider-man as GP knew him DIED spectacularly on the big screen, and that's yet to happen.

MCU is in terrible need of a young guy who can break the ice and potentially lead the show if RDJ decides to take a walk.

The thought of Donald Glover and RDJ in the same room is some saturday night live type cheese. Sony was in a bad spot with the films. Glover starring in his own films isn't a risk they are going to take.

Evan Peters wouldn't be bad. Very versatile.

No idea who I'd like to play him but it has to be Parker for Spidey's first time on he big screen with the Avengers etc. I'd be pissed if it wasn't. It would be like having Batman be Dick Grayson in BvS next year, whilst he was an ok Batman he's not the Batman I want for the first big screen outing for the Worlds Finest.

I don't have a specific actor in mind, but I would like someone who is younger and more slightly built. A bulky Spider-Man just wouldn't sit well with my conception of the character, and neither would a Spider-Man who is obviously in his late-20s or early 30s.. Other than that - and the obvious caveats about wanting someone good enough to play the role - I'm not picky.

This.

I have my doubts about that, but I'm not a fortune teller. I certainly wouldn't like it and part of the reason I like Spider-man is, by extension, Peter Parker. One reason I'm not a huge Batman fan is because I've never given one shit about Bruce Wayne; I can't relate to him and I've always found the character boring. Replacing Peter Parker with a different character also alters the illusion of Spider-man. Spider-man is cool, but you know who he is underneath, so the character of Peter Parker is important and integral to the general perception of Spider-man. Throwing a new character at people would have to mean some serious re-adjustment and evaluation of who the character is.

I like Spider-man because I like Peter Parker.

Spike from Teen Wolf gets my vote, Dylan is the only good actor on that show...he makes Teen Wolf without him i would have stop watching after 1 season..
