I was at Rain last night (gay bar in Austin) and this absolutely adorable guy sits down and chats with me and my group for a little while. We were mostly talking about how he looks like Ryan Gosling, and we were trying to pinpoint the differences. He's pretty much Ryan Gosling but with a thinner frame and braces. I didn't think that braces would do anything for me but they looked straight up adorable on him. Long story short he ends up walking away right before I was gonna ask him another question and it made me sad. My friend Isaac told me that he may or may not have been interested in this older guy who was sitting sorta near us, but I told him I wanted to find him and give things a shot anyway. He decides to be my wingman and we circle the club a few times and realize he already left. We went back to our group defeated -_-
I've never been one to lock in on a guy and ask him out, so I thought it was pretty telling that this guy would make me wanna do that. I had no idea what I would have said or done if I saw him, but I really couldn't keep my eyes off of him. He was super charming and approachable, and he just disappeared out of the blue without warning. His name is Ty, short for Tyler

Transgender seems to be the umbrella term for all trans identities (some people use trans*, but it's not very common). Transgender basically means you identify as a gender which is not your biological sex, so includes more 'traditional' trans identities (so biological male who identifies as female, and vice versa) and things like genderqueer identities (which is where a person identifies as outside the gender binary - embodying both male and female or neither in some cases. Transsexual is a person who has gone through gender reassignment surgery, i think. Though the term seems to be falling out of favour, from my experiences. Something extremely annoying happened today. I ran into my best friendwho actually is gay, Lesbian to be exact at the mall today. She was with her friend who is not gay and before I can even introduce myself and say my name she goes.
"OMG are you GAY because she has a lot of gay friends and you're too cute to be gay" Yes I capitalized gay purposely because she put an extreme amount of emphasis on the word.
Like trick just because you can't find a man don't mean every attractive person is gay. And even if I was straight, no thank you miss. Maybe i'm kind of overreacting but she left a terrible taste in my mouth after that comment.

it was more of her statement that annoyed me. It's something that I've heard way too much and the way she asked me was kinda rude. My friend even went back to me after she left and said she was kinda rude by asking the way she did. IDK maybe me and my friend are too young and sensitive.
