Okay okay I believe you now that you have low confidence. I'm just saying there are some posters here that have it so bad that they wouldn't post the kinds of photos you have posted, so I assumed you probably were just joking around about your confidence thing.

Alcoori - I've never used a bread machine actually, but haha, I always use milk and butter in my bread, I think it's in the basic recipe. XD

Scott - Thanks, Scott. I'm turning 23 this year, everyone says I look way older, idk. Me not having to show my ID when buying alcohol when my 5 year older sister having to show ID when buying nasal spray isn't the best feeling. I'm gonna look 50 when I'm 30. :D

I've met 6 guys so far although only one of them seems to be a possible lover. You will find someone, you just have to put yourself out there.

Now I guess the only thing I'm worried about is my ability to be good in bed once the time comes lol.

Gonna tell you the truth though, I think pretty much all of us here have swooned over your good looks hahaha

April here, beating you to the punch. :p I am the one who needs to exercise, get rid of the belly and love handles and ass you know. ^^
Nah, I have never dated a guy before, I'm uncomfortable with both girls and guys, I guess because I'm inexperienced and stuff.
I'm not out either, so that makes it harder, living in a homophobic suburb, growing up with my dad's "rules" that guys should never hug or even show feelings. ^^

Haha, thanks for that last comment, believe me when I say i have followed this thread a little, and there are quite a few really great looking guys here, you included. Being a member here for several years without posting, but I guess that'll have to change, since my English isn't the best, I'm a slow writer. ^^;

My brother is the hugger, and sometimes my dad just pushes him away, and growing up hugging only my mom has made me panic when someone tries to hug me. A friend approached me from the back a while ago putting his arms around me, I panicked and broke free as quick as possible, I'm not cut out to be with anyone. ^^;

I live in Sweden, homophobia is kinda rare in the bigger cities, but not in the suburbs, there's only 2000 people here where I live, being gay is the worst thing to be here is the general verdict. ^^

Scott, I haven't seen that picture, unfortunately. :(
 
All you guys are adorable; I don't think I've seen one bad/ugly GayGaf member. Everyone needs to hug themselves from the inside and boost your self esteems a bit. ^_____^

Well being French I obviously know the true recipe for bread and let me tell you that a true bread recipe only contains flour, yeast, water and some salt.

You can't contradict me because I know bread. Deal with it.

Haha, I'm not gonna argue with you, I still prefer to make it with milk and butter though. I think I made the other kind once or twice in school though. ^^

I am going to have to agree with Alcoori. Although I do use light butter to grease the pan, but I don't think that counts as an ingredient. <___<;

Just found out I acquired herpes. My second sexual partner ever, too.

He swears he was completely clean, but I guess not. I guess a lot of people have it and don't even know it because they never receive breakouts. I feel like my life is over.

I'm also freaking out that I have HIV, too, because I read that men with herpes are 5x more likely to acquire HIV. He swears he doesn't have that, too, but I'm going to get tested for it regardless. I feel like throwing up. For the record: no anal sex, just oral. Do you think I somehow got HIV? I also read somewhere that HSV (herpes) and HIV sometimes share a relationship.


I'm so afraid and feel so alone......I don't know where else I can talk about this :(

I just keep thinking that I'm no longer "normal"....that herpes now defines me. That I can no longer have a normal sex life. And I'll potentially miss out on a great relationship. It's a horrible feeling. I still don't know whether I have HSV-1 or HSV-2, so I'm still hoping it's HSV-1 that I somehow got
on my anus
as well as my mouth. HSV-1 is the one most people have, and some 80% of everyone will get at some point in their life. It's primarily oral, not genital. I had a bad case of strep throat right before my outbreak so maybe it's just that.....I don't know. Wishful thinking. I'm expecting it to be HSV-2 so I can't be disappointed.

And what about the HIV thing? Do you guys think I'm overreacting there? I can't get tested for a few days so I'm going to panic myself to death over it :\
 
Also if you do have a sores from herpes then the chances of getting HIV from someone else increases while they remain untreated. So do get tested for HIV as well

Sucks to hear that, but don't psyche yourself out too much. Just get tested, and I'm sure everything will turn out fine. I don't think it's very common to get HIV from just oral sex unless you had a cut in your mouth or something.

Sorry to hear that Pyrokai.

But take heart: Herpes is a very treatable STI, and there is absolutely no reason it has to impact your daily life - which is far from over, btw. *hugs*

Also, get tested for HIV because you should always get tested for HIV. Regular testing when you're sexually active is essential. But, if I were you I wouldn't worry too much. The risk for HIV transmission via oral sex is low, almost negligibly so. There are other annoying STDs/STIs that are much more easily transmitted via oral sex.

So get tested to ease your mind, but don't worry too much. Unless there was blood and fresh open cuts involved, it is very unlikely that you have HIV from an oral encounter withthis person. And that's if he's even positive.

Wow, today was pretty busy at work, my back hurts.

Anyway, my guy picked up his kids from school today since he hasn't seen them in a month. He's gonna take them to school tomorrow morning. I'm glad, because he sounded much happier :)
