Getting a new HDTV next week. Have my MS hidef cables coming for XBMC goodness - not really that bothered about the games with X360 coming soon. But what about GC? I don't really play it that much, but does component make a big difference to svideo (my current choice)? I have a JPN cube modded with a switch.

Does RE4 support progressive scan? Thats pretty much the only game I have left to play on it - oh and Zelda, depending on when the Revolution comes out.

Yepp. The component picture quality is far superior to s-video.
RE4 comes with progressive scan. So does F-Zero GX and quite a lot of other games.
