Game releases on March 19 in case you didn't know. Time to rev up those Lancers.
 
Looking forward to it. I'm not big on the MP( not saying it's bad or anything , just not really my thing) but i always enjoyed Gears SP campaigns.
 
You guys played Gears 3? I don't think there will be another game after this going by that ending. Thats why we have a prequel. Unless Gears 4 is set on another planet.
 
I like Gears and have enjoyed multiple hours with the series but I am suffering a little from franchise fatigue when it comes to being excited for a new one.

The one thing that does have me a little pumped is that People Can Fly have developed Judgement and I have enjoyed what that team has done ever since the original Painkiller.
 
Is there going to be a budget GOTY edition of the third game anytime soon? I've been meaning to pick it up at some point.

Actually on that note, was any of the DLC single player?

it's not getting even a fraction of the hype of the previous Gears games, fans know this isn't a main entry and don't seem to care

I still don't understand how they decided on make a game based on the most annoying character in the series, and he was just a filler
 
What I've learned for anything Gears related: never play it for the story. Cliffy B was promising Gears 3 would deliver in that regard, and it completely fell apart at the end. It was still a fun game though.

Seriously doubt it. There's still a big community of GoW players out there that will buy this game.

People throw the term bomb around way too much here. Games like PSABR, every THQ game, SOCOM, etc that led to franchises being discontinued...now those are bombs.
 
I'm a huge Gears fan but I could not give a fuck about this game. Sorry, Epic I love you and all but this is too much too soon. Should have saved it for next-gen.
 
I still have basically no idea what this game is and I still have not seen a single second of gameplay and it's out in a month. Crazy. I'm curious to see how it turns out though, especially considering that People Can Fly is involved.
 
This will the first Gears game I won't get on day 1.

In fact, I'm not even gonna play it. I'm just tired of the franchise. It's been good, but give it a rest and move on to something else.
 
I have zero interest in Baird, so this game is not on my radar. I might pick it up cheap if the reviews are outstanding.
 
I'm ready. Its the only game this year that has me hyped.

Not super hyped, but still. I expect it to be a bloody good time in campaign and co-op.
 
It will bomb by Gears standards but it won't bomb. My Michael Patcher prediction is 2 million at least. Game is really cheap in my region.
