You said the same thing about Avowed and AC Shadows, and yet you were one of the first people on GAF playing them papito :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
How much do you have to pay to play early on Game Pass?
Was worth it with Avowed.

Definitely a better deal than the Avowed one. I doubt I'll get it since I'm not even close to done with Avowed. SoM art book is probably pretty sick.

Doesn't look bad honestly. I usually enjoy most action-adventure games like this. Decent combat/good scenery is all is needed.

Another game from MS not being dubbed to other languages, they can go f themselves.
English is my third language and I never ever even thought of complaining about that. Set my mind long time that if I want to consume western media, I need to learn the language. Piece of cake, actually.

It's awful. I'm excited about the game, but the songs are the absolute pits.
Its definitely weird but I'm going to try and keep an open mind until I see it in context of the game. I'm not into country, ragtime or folk typically but I do like some of these tracks. Just the fact that I can actually say I have never heard a game OST like this ever is already a giant plus in my book after 35+ years of gaming. Nice to see something new and creative. Southern Gothic is a cool setting so this could fit right in if done well. Guess we'll see.

Looking forward to this. Also maybe I'm a jaded old man but I'm getting real tired, and I do feel this happens way more in Xbox game threads, of wading through all the shit from people who will never play the game, feeling the need to tell anyone who might, that they shouldn't.

If you don't care. Cool. Stay away.

My advice is to avoid the review thread. It usually serves as a bulk containment thread.

It comes at the wrong time.
People are sick of Woke stuff, nerds hate them with a passion, and they are generally imploding right now.
It's also apparently involved with the forbidden "baby" consultants.

Watching these projects is really sad. Like someone finances the construction of a giant ship made out of sugar. People poured their heart, soul and a rainforest worth of sugar trees to make it.
Yet we all know it's not going to float for long... and it just started to rain...

Not sure I’d call the game itself woke, but the main character was race-swapped, and the community manager is an anti-white racist.
An African American young woman in the American Deep South, filled with historical and cultural influences from African Americans, in particular Geechie Gullah culture, might've been the best change they made in race-swapping the main character.

While what you say is 100% true for the individual; with gaming becoming a global phenomenon if M$ don't spend the small amount of money for translation Vs. The potential colossal amounts of sales they lose its really a case of them gimping themselves with poor decisions and allocation of resources.

Of course this game is going to probably flop regardless because its not globally appealing but the principle stands in general lol

I wasn't judging it either way. Sounded like the devs in Canada were afraid of trying to write a black woman in the deep south. Until they got consultants.
