I just got the EGM with the bad reviews today. Pretty dissapointing. Sounds like it was a good idea that was just executed very poorly.

Damn this game was suppose to be good. It was suppose to fill (imo) the biggest hole in the GC's library which was fps.
I own all 3 systems and "console FPS's" just happen to be my favorite genre. And though i never expected the game to be anywhere near as good as the Halo games. I was kind of expecting it to be good enough to qualify it as the flagship fps for the GC (I don't consider MP 1/2 to be real FPS's, regardless of how utterly awesome they were).
Does anyone know if there are any exclusive "potentially" great fps's on their way to the GC before Nintendo starts shifting all their attention to the Revolution?

I can't believe how ignorant those of you that have completely dismissed this game, there is obvious improvement and seems like N-Space took the criticism on the chin and learned.
It may not be the best game in the world but kudos to N-Space for actually making something of this.

i have seen several games that have gotten low scores but were an acquired taste and high scoring games that are an acquired taste too....

EGM also gave Coded Arms a 4.5 when the average is actually over 6.0 - with a 6.6 from Gamespot and a 7.0 from IGN. With a 5.3 from EGM, Geist could still average close to 7 - and get higher than 7's from Gamespot and IGN maybe. Higher than 7 from trusted publications is respectable.
I'm not saying it will happen. But EGM is NOT a definitive source for game reviews.
