Gematsu: Sony to hold Playstation Experience event in December

So when is the actual PSX panel where these megatons are expected to happen? I know the event is saturday and sunday but I have no clue when the presser will be.

Even if nothing new is announced, 2015 is still ridiculous for PS. That's kind of crazy to think about. So many studios haven't announced anything so far, yet 2015 is staaaaaaaaacked.

If AA and indie doesn't count, we got Bloodborne, the order and uncharted 4, add MLB if sport games count.
That's just 4 AAA retail title in 2015, not much better than 2014.
 
2015 on PS4 will be beautiful, we just need one or two more AAA games between BloodBorne ( march ) and U4 ( november-december ) and it will be a perfect year !

You're forgetting the Ratchet & Clank reboot and Untill Dawn.

And why wouldn't you count Indie games? Look at a game like No Man's Sky for example, it's far more ambitious than any AAA game this gen.

The amount of PS4 exclusives for 2015 is absolutely insane.

Should I count Japanese title that will never get localize? I think some of them will.
I'm sure P5 DQ heroes and D5 have English version in 2015
 
The crown jewel for next year in terms of exclusives* won't be any of the above anyway.

Games like The Order, Bloodborne, No Man's Sky, Uncharted 4 (if not delayed) already make 2015 a great year imo. Now I just need to buy a PS4.

Ohhhh you only play exclusives? I'll be playing witcher, batman, etc. On my ps4 next year as well :)
 
I kinda hope to see a new Vanillaware game at the show. It's unlikely, but Dragon's Crown did debut at E3. They've wrapped up all of Muramasa's DLC, so they can now fully focus on whatever new game they're working on.

Yeah, me too. I'm getting mine in February, when The Order 1886 releases. I hope there is some sort of bundle.

And let's not forget the amount of amazing multiplatform games that release in 2015, and most of them play better on the PS4 as well. The biggest one being MGSV.

I don't think it will be big honestly, it seems that it will be used by to unveil DLCs, side projects, online modes, remasters like Dark Souls 2, smaller titles from publishers like TellTales....that's the level of contents we'll get there. Even Keighley seems to be avoiding the useless hype around it this year.

Beating Sony's last E3 conference certainly isn't any major task.
Only things we got out of that conference were a CG trailer of Blooborne (leaked with actual gameplay before), a few seconds of a cutscene from Uncharted 4, a promising indie title (No Man's Sky) and something for nostalgics (like me) with the Grim Fandango remaster announcement.
PS Experience should expand on all of that and will certainly feature a couple of big surprises.
Of course those people dreaming about FFVII remake, Shenmue, Half Life or things like that are precisely just dreaming.

Totally forgot about them with ask this hype talk. Would love to see a new game from them for the ps4. With so much power in the new machines compared to the old ones, can you imagine the living painting they could make.

I don't expect it, I demand it, dammit. I made a $399 investment in my PS4 and I better get a good ROI with great games and freebies. Hell yeah!

Yeah, I loved it.

So many great game announcements and trailers. The Tommorow Children reveal, DayZ for PS4, the new game by Housemarqee, a great looking gameplay trailer for The Order but my favorite thing about the event was the game WILD.
 
As a whole, I thought E3/Gamescom/Pre-TGS all did pretty good.

E3 was relatively lean, but Bloodborne, LBP3 and Uncharted reveal were still good stuff. inFamous:FL, No Man's Sky, Grim Fandango, Entwined were not as 'big', but still pretty good.

Gamescom was just a nice slate of gamesgamesgames. TC, Rime, Alienation, Wild, Until Dawn, Tearaway. The other timed exclusives also looked nice, though they obviously are not that big a deal, timed and all.

Pre-TGS conference had a terrible pacing, but content-wise, P5 for PS4, Ys, D5, EDF 4.1, Gundam, Yakuza, Dragon Quest Heroes, Senran Kagura. It feeds pretty much every niche you could cover out of a Japanese event.

I don't like to make comparisons, but if you ignore the conference split, and just treat the entirety of every announcement made in 2014 under one lump of news, I'd say it's easily the most dense announcement line-up in a long time by a single publisher.

The order, Bloodborne, unfuckingcharted, will be mine day 1!
P5, Yakuza zero, Tearaway, day 1
The tomorrow children, Day1, played the alpha, love it.
Rime, witness, alienation, until dawn, need to see more to decide.

2015, pretty good year to win a list war.

Edit: add DQ heroes day 1 too, if they localize it.

Double edit: forgot about deep down, let it die and planet side 2, day 1 cause it's free.
