Spent way too much time on this.

I'm so happy dinosaurs seem to be making a comeback next year, hopefully they replace zombies as the most popular genre.

Yes, same here! I actually really want a good dinosaur game this generation. Something like Far Cry with dinos would be incredible.

Just open back up the floodgates in America, let me download Crash on my Vita, announce the next Crash, and voila, happy campers.

Maybe there'll be some clips from when Crash was an asshole back in the old commercials, gonna go watch those now.

You're actually delusional. What do you think my avatar is a picture of?

I'm just saying, TLG owes us nothing. We're not missing out on anything. We're just missing out on whatever Ueda is working on.

Also, the evidence exists in that they refused to call it cancelled and reiterated Ueda is working on it ALL these god damn years.

yeah keep downplaying the game. we aren't missing out on the game that's being worked on by the creators of ico and colossus. surrreeee....

yeah because that equates to millions and millions of dollars wasted and thrown away. sure, buddy.

meanwhile, worldwide studios cancelled stig's game within santa monica.

see where this is going? you probably think, "they should've cancelled last guardian instead!"

yeah because you know more about the game than worldwide studios does. tell them how to run their business while you're at it.

FYI here's a short preview of Jurassic Encounters: http://vrfocus.com/archives/4388/preview-jurassic-encounter/

Just as with most titles for the PlayStation 4′s VR solution at present, there’s no word on whether or not Jurassic Encounter will ever see a commercial release, however VRFocus would wonder why a studio with comparatively limited resources would spend time developing a technical demo for which they were unlikely to receive remuneration of kind.

I agree with that notion. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this'll be a $60 full retail game or a $10-15 glorified tech demo to show off VR.

Sweet. Dinosaurs.

Edit: They could be making a Dino Crisis, depending on how big the studio is. Sony doesn't own them.

Jurassic Encounters was/is a game they had a E3. It's just a tech demo as much as I know.
However it's possible it could be expanding into a bigger product. Unsure about any sort of ties to DC though.
We haven't heard much about what capcom has been doing with 3rd parties if anything as of late. So who knows.

Missed the last 2 pages. Until Dawn and Dinosaurs? What's the connection?

We just know they will be at the event with their dinosaur "game"
So it might be a more full fledged title than first believed.

I really hope it's not SFV. Sony funding a game for a third party ala Bloodborne is terrific, but spending money to keep games away from people is possibly the most scummy tactic in the industry.

I agree completely. Would rather them spend money on a new game rather than something they were going to get anyway

Ok, going off that guy from Bend's twitter i'm convinced that syphon filter PS4 is coming. whether they announce it at this event idk but i think it's coming.

You really could do this.

Instead of writing poems to satisfy his creative thirst, Boyes could be productive and take this feedback and give it to Shu. Then Shu could maybe think about what he's done wrong, and reflect a little more.

I want a commercial reveal with the old crash mascot standing outside of the Microsoft hq calling them out Ala late 90s
This is nice and all until Master Chief comes out and beats the shit out of him.

Then you have to explain to the family why the father, and husband of two, is in hospital.

I would get too hype if that happened. I don't think whatever room I would be watching this in would exist after that.
^I like crash in an IRL fight with Master Chef.

Street fighter ain't relevant now? I want something else but Street exclusive is a big deal man most influential fighting game ever!
For me its more like "Oh great, another SF game so exciting...not." I mean I don't really follow the franchise but its already a yearly....or maybe every other year series I think. I don't see what the big deal is about another one. I don't know what the big deal is about putting a 5 at the end makes it so much better, as far as I'm aware they already introduce new characters and change how some stuff works in each new SFIV game they release, so I don't really see what difference there will be if they put a 5 on it instead or how different it would be. Guess I'd have to be a fighting fan that plays more than Smash and PSASBR to care. Just seems boring as a "big" announcement. But thats just me.

Pft, Crash would beat the crap out of that sissy punk.
Yeah, well at least Master Chief isn't a dead rodent from the 90s.

He's a space cowboy.

not if he gets help from some buddies

Yeah, Sonic is busy pretty much massacring himself, and Spyro. Well, fuck Spyro. No one asked for satan to get involved so I don't know why you have to bring him into this discussion.

This was a one on one originally. Cowards need backup.

If Sony were to buy any company I wish it was Platinum

What I'm about to say is insane. For me, I'd unrealistically like to see them acquire Valve to become their PC gaming unit (console versions of those games would be of course PS exclusive). As part of it, I would love to see PS Now be integrated into Steam allowing you to play all your PlayStation games on your PC (even PS4 games, after a system link to prove you own one of course). If possible, maybe turn PS4 into a Steambox after a firmware update to all you to play your PC games on TV (PS4 has native KB&M support already). In my grand vision, PS+ would also be altered to include 2 free Steam games in addition to the 6 games you currently get. Okay, dream over.

lol worth it.

Also, hype is getting to me too as I'm starting to believe in Crash and TLG, when normally I would dismiss the idea of either immediately. And the fact I'm even allowing myself to think about a FFVII remake is crazy.

Honestly though, I would love Sony if they helped fund a Dragon's Dogma 2. Such a promising first game with so much potential that could be realized by a sequel. Didn't sell amazingly (though considering no one really knew about it except through word of mouth, it did pretty well), but could be a great investment with a bigger advertising push as an exclusive.

I could see Sony using the offering of DD: Dark Arisen on PS+ last year as a way to test the waters of how players responded to the game, how many downloads it garnered vs. Completion rates, how many times it was 'liked', brought up in discussion on social forums post-PS+, etc.. All those metrics to gauge the plausibility of investment in the development of a sequel.

Whoa! Never heard of this. Interesting. 2015 is gonna be the year of the beasts! ;)

On the top of that Valve and Platinum developing a new game

Valve has its own gravitational field, they have no need for Sony. Though such an acquisition might actually get them to make some more single player games -_-

Why do people think Crash is coming now? Doesn't Activision still own the IP? Any change in ownership would have been public now. Ya'll be tripping.
