Anyone thinking of Picking this up? I'm going to try renting it and clear it in one night after I get back from class. (and probably exchange it for another game :p)

Shouldn't be too hard, afterall the game is supposedly short.

The demo didn't grab me, nor did it offend me. It was just another third person action game in the vein of every Capcom RE engine game released in the past five years, with the benefit of a less shit camera. What I played in the demo actually allowed you to see everything around you without obstructing the view, or generally being a nuisance.

I was also put off by the mandatory training section. I prefer a game that says, "Here is what you do. Now go do it!"

And no Little Sally Froo Froo prettyboy J-actors, or that French guy everybody goes gay (j/k Jean Reno rox! Unless he's playing DDR then he SUX!) for in it. :P

From Okamoto's diary:

"Genji Reputation

Tom Shiraiwa told me Genji was highly estimated at gamespot.com.

it was pointed 7.1 by official reviewers. Just Good. But users votes is 8.8/10, it's 323rd of 16557 titles! And most of user reviewers said "Too Short". U-oh. Wait, I've found a word of "perfect"! The review says... "perfect for weekend rent"! OUCH!

Of course, some says it's instant classic, but overall reviews are not high for a 8.8 title.

Volume of Genji was welcome by non-constant videogame players, and it seems too short for hardcore users. They voted, but didn't write review. That caused the gap of estimation, I guess."

:lol
