Okay, so here's the deal. I came into work one day and a dude left a bag with all these iTunes codes in it on my desk. He knew I was a music geek and said that he figured I'd put them to good use. Well, truth is, I hate downloading music. Anyway, I gave some away last time in a giveaway, but because these have to be used by 11:59:59 PST tomorrow, I figured I'd just throw them all up here and let you guys just go bananas. There's like 75 codes here, give or take, and I'm not sure of the accuracy of how they're all typed. Please only use them if you're going to use them, and please don't take them all, or share them with people outside GAF. Just use a couple, get a few songs you've been eying, and let others share in the fun. Greedy assholes are no fun. If you're feeling cool, please post the songs you used the downloads on, so we can kind of keep track, and maybe the codes, too, so we know what's still active. Maybe if I'm not knocked out (I'm full of pain meds after some surgery), I'll update the list. I doubt it though.

If you want some suggestions on what I think you should download, here's a few ideas:

-Pidgeon's From Gutter w/ Love is completely underrated, get some Pidgeon.
-I can't get enough of Entertainment! by Gang of Four.

-When in doubt, Sonic Youth.
-I do love the new White Stripes track...

This was an awesome little thing to find.

For the record I used ZF7XC V7ZCQ, and KXALO NHC93.

I grabbed Etta James' 'At Last'. I've been looking for a decent copy of this song for ages, and I didn't want to grab the whole album so this was perfect. Not anything revolutionary, but that is simply one of the best love songs ever and I was without it.

AS for the second one, I figured I'd take you up on your recomendation and try out some Robots Ate Me as I have never heard of them. They do indeed rock, but I can't pick just one! This Love is Waiting, Lately, or All Good Things? Which of those three would you recomend Lamb?

When you say they have to be used by tonight, do you mean redeemed, or an actual purchase has to take place?

According to the rules on the back of the labels of one of the bottles: "Code entry deadline for free song redemptions is 5/23/05 at 11:59:50 pm PST." So I assume as long as you have the code entered, you can get the songs whenever.

As far as my favorite Robot Ate Me track, I'm pretty partial to "The Genocide Ball," "On Vacation Pt. 2," and "Apricot Tea" from On Vacation. "Lately" from Carousel Waltz is fabulous as well. I pretty much like everything he's done, though, soooo you really can't go wrong!
