Getting 3-5 Games for Christmas - Which to play on crappy ass TVs?

Well, since I don't have enough interests in life, there are 5 GameCube games on my Christmas List. I know for a fact I am receiving at least three of them, although likely at least 4. I put two as tied for my top choice, and literally saw a credit card statement of the other (By mistake) so I can plan for those at least.

I am assuming I will receive the following:

Pikmin 2
Paper Mario: TTYD
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Viewtiful Joe 2 (Likely)
Donkey Konga (Not so likely)

Now, the issue is that I will be at my grandmother's home for Christmas and like 4-5 days following. And, hooking up my GameCube with an RF adapter to a small 13" TV made in the early 1990s. And, even when I get back home for Christmas Break, I'll be hooking it up to a crappy Mono 19" TV with serious sound issues. And, my parents have put a stop to my plans on packing up my 20" Flat Screen Panasonic Tau and carrying it around everywhere.

If there is one of those games that it would be alright to play on crappy TVs, which one is it? And if there are two, it would be quite helpful. I know it would be best to play them all on a slightly nicer TV (If I get Donkey Konga, this really doesn't apply...since it's Donkey Konga, after all), but if there is ONE particular titles that would be weakened the least from a horrible visual and auditory experience in a poorly lit room with more glare than you can possibly imagine, which one would it be? Any help is appreciated.

you probably can't play MP2, as its 60Hz only.

Other than that, Paper mario and viewtiful joe should be fine - the graphics are bright and bold.

Pikmin 2 should wait until you have a nice TV to play it on,

Buy a GBA:SP or even a DS.

I have a GBA:SP...just nothing interesting to play on it at the moment. And the chances of me sitting with 4-5 unopened games and not playing any of them for a week is slim.

I was assuming Pikmin 2 and MP2 were the two I REALLY shouldn't...if I grab Viewtiful Joe 2, I'll probably put some time into it.

Thanks.

Even the Nintendo fans on this board are quite young, aren't they.

18...so sue me for having to go to my 90 Year-Old Grandmother's for Christmas because she can't travel.

No man, I wasn't trying to dig at you at all. I just think even the fan base on this forum for N is quite young. Didn't mean to make any sort of example out of your question. I'd be bringing games too.

Final Fantasy 1+2 is coming out for GBA, which would be an excellent choice for 2 weeks.

Ask for that.

Yeah...not big into traditional RPGs...I did have Final Fantasy II for the NES and hated it, though. Yeah, I was like 5, but still.

If it is that big a deal why don't you just wait to play? Bring a book or some form of entertainment that's not dependent on technology.

My point was: I'd like to play one, at least. I plan on leaving the others. But if I had to choose one, I was wondering which might be best. I'll have other forms of entertainment...but it's one of the least exciting places imaginable.

I am 26, and I would pick Nintendo if you forced me to choose just one company.

Yeah and having watch Drawn Together and seeing your avatar.....*
