Just got free passes to a screening to this on Wednesday. Never seen the original, but as a big fan of dystopian futures, I'm intrigued. I'll probably watch the original tonight or tomorrow to have it in my head.

I feel like this movie has had a lot of damn trailers

Between 5 minute's worth of footage here and music videos there it feels like Paramount are shoving this film down the Internet's throats and, as with dating, desperation makes for a stinky cologne.

Still dont like the music, sure Dubstep is what the kids like these days, but some Vapourwave would fit better (maybe i dunno i am more of a Metal fan) or just stick to the original Music

Let's see how well they pull this scene of:

I still can't get over the fact that they call her Major. It's soooooo stupid.

Motoko Kusanagi or "Madison Kristoff" (or whatev) wouldn't have been better.

Looks good, looking forward to a big hollywood anime adaption. o_O

Dont care much for reviews really. From what i have seen from trailers and the first 5 min it looks solid enough really.

meh. this trailer is all over the map.

still looking forward to the film but i don't think this was assembled very well. especially that 90s announcer at the end.

Its had a normal amount haf just makes a topic for each one.

My wife and I will probably grab a couple of friends to go see this with this weekend.. but man, the trailers/marketing have not done this film any favors.

Might be a film good enough to watch on mute visually looks amazing plot sounds dumb even though original film was easy enough to understand.

Why does Scarlett Johansson always look like she's trying to hold back a laugh?

It's irritating to see on a stoic character.

The marketing spend for this is CRAZY. Like, you can't get away from it.

Hope it's good as an adaptation and on its own merits. Hey, I liked Lucy, so I might be easily pleased.

Looks solid, I think. That was the S.A.C outfit in there for a moment too. Good recreation of the original film in that opening scene too.

The "What is that?!" line with tears in her eyes seemed a little too emotive from what I know of the character but oh well, if you get hung up on small things then what are you gonna do?

This looks way too faithful visually.
Audiences are not gonna like this. It's too adventurous visually.

But I like it.
