It's quite clear they think everyone asking for more content is unreasonable judging by their tone every time it's mentioned.

Alan Wake is really good... until the last hour or so.
The DLCs are dogshit when the story goes completely off the deep end as well.

I hate it when stories like that get so abstract and crazy that the writing gets lazy and boring just because it's meant to like, mess with your head, mannn.

The content droughts just make me appreciate Vinny more.
Back in the old office he was the only video guy and GB produced the most content they ever have. They had way more regular content back the too. And it was all run by Vinny (and intern Drew helping). And it was recorded in the corner of a small open office.
Now they have 1 video producer per editor and their own studio they can use to record stuff whenever the hell they want and dudes struggle to get shit done.
Heck on a given week Alex and Vinny will still produce more content in that closet then GB SanFran and its 2x the staff and way more professional studio.

Dan's threshold for what keeps MGS grounded is pretty silly to me. Going to space isn't that much weirder than anything in 2. Also a part of 3 is that Boss went to space so...

This is super stupid, but I distinctly remember being in a polish Subway while listening to that bit. No idea why I remember this.
overall gameplay was okay but i loved the concept. also had the best Mr. Scratch scenes.

The only thing I remember is EA being mentioned. The part cut was around three minutes long.
edit: the one thing I also remember is the filename of the updated podcast had an "a" appended to the end of its filename. So if someone on here made a habit of keeping some of the old podcasts, maybe they have the original that doesn't have the "a" in its filename.

Alan Wake is a cool 5-6 hour game that's 12 hours long.
American Nightmare if a fun little romp though. The time loop stuff was a smart way to do a small game.

I've got it at 7 hours on Steam.
But it still dragged a little at the end.

A lot of people hate it, especially around these parts. I liked it a lot until the main story started wrapping up.
Also Alan Wake is great and one of the few games to nail pacing in its narrative. Every episode ended with a cliffhanger. And the DLCs were brilliant. I liked American Nightmare a lot too, Mr Scratch is one of the all-time best villains imo. Sam Lake is one of the few respectable writers in this business.
