I kinda agree, and I've listened to the entirety of last year's E3 drive.
Though this moment was absolutely amazing.
Gotta love satellite radio.

It was a bit weird cause Rorie obviously did notice that and tried to rope him in a little with some questions.

Yep, I bought it during the QL. Game looked like exactly the sort of WRPG I needed after going through a long JRPG for the past month or so.

Giantbomb was the prototype of the youtube stuff.
I'm actually unclear on that but I feel like YT comments are sometimes moderated on GB videos, no?

That's just YouTube though, nothing to do with ign.
now I regret not picking up Divinity during Steam sale. I can wait
Same.now I regret not picking up Divinity during Steam sale. I can wait
Same here. I didn't realize what that game was until I watched the quick look just now. I would have bought it for sure had I known it was a D&D-style party based RPG.now I regret not picking up Divinity during Steam sale. I can wait
Until a few hours ago I thought it was just a pretty diablo clone. I somehow missed the big ass letters saying it's a turn based rpg in the trailer.Same here. rawrie has mentioned banning people on youtube before.

That... that was something. I planned on listening to his drive this year and ended up being busy, and now I'm regretting it.
I wonder how big GaymerX is now. I know Gamespot went and covered it the first year.I'd rather GB support something like that over PAX.
Did you see the Sniper Elite quicklook?I don't want to say this cause I know some of the guys read this thread, but I can't help it...
Dan really doesn't know a lot of stuff I would think is common knowledge. He seems oddly sheltered or something. Not knowing whether D&D was a pen and paper game or a video game first? Not having mustard until he's 28? Not driving on a highway until his late 20's or something? There are other things I can't recall at the moment, but his gaps in knowledge/experience are interesting.

Dan goes "Was WWII in Africa?" and you can clearly hear Drew in the background guffawing.
He thought a bellows was a turkey baster.
FIFYForget buying Rorie a fridge, let's buy Dan a history book. Put him on the road to adulthood.
I mean....GiantBomb always felt like a perfect mix between Youtube (very personality driven and focus on video content) and "professional journalism" to me. They combine the best parts of Youtube with some credibility, production values and most importantly without the bain of my existance, the "skits".
No
"Jeff: This is my pet rat Bowser and lol we have some wacky adventures, don't we Bowser?
Still Jeff but with a high pitched voice: *squeek* yes we doho Jeff
Jeff: Oh no, is this? It is! My arch nemesis Rap Man! Grrr RapMan what evil plans do you have today? I foiled your scheme in my lenghty 30 minutes video last week, and now you are back?
Jeff in a stupid fucking costume: Hahahaha yes here I am again in a new costume! Take this: Adobe lightning effects!
Oh no
*to be continued*"
as of yet, thank god.
Urgh.

Drew actually says, "Oh my god" in the most authentic sounding disbelief I've ever heard.Did you see the Sniper Elite quicklook?

Forget buying Rorie a fridge, let's buy Dan a bed frame. Put him on the road to adulthood.

They are interesting (and hilarious). Is the D&D thing that crazy though? I'd guess a ton of console only gamers wouldn't know the answer to that question. If I hadn't got deep into Baldurs Gate 2, I feel like I'd be in the same boat.
