Treehouse played it, there was a press release with screens, video and everything. It was announced. They all weren't aware of it.

Just giving people who keep saying "oh, X [mostly Dan] doesn't know about this as a professional journalist?" some perspective. I personally don't care, at all, but they don't know tons of stuff about Nintendo games (old and new) that I'd consider basic. It just goes to show that everyone has a comfort zone of his own. I know next to nothing about WoW, for example.

So yeah, not seriously complaing that he didn't know about the announcement.
