Was just about to ask this. So no point in watching the first part?

I really like The Last of Us. Does that matter?

basically there was no talk about Last of Us at all. It was all about xcom, and a really, really annoying guy from Gearbox that talked over everyone.

they were trying to beat the release date for Last of Us out of the naughty dog guy (cowboy), but he couldn't say anything

edit: also, just realized i'm no longer a Junior - have no idea when that changed, but yay!
 
Debates like these on the state of the industry and constraints that hamper development and creative ambition are the reasons I tune in.
 
That made more sense when I first read the comments, but I've not heard him say a word and people keep complaining? Maybe my stream is lagging behind or something.

He's said a few things, but he's not really pompous or arrogant. He just disagreed with Jaffe and now people want his head on a pike, I guess.

he, like other "indie" devs i've met and/or seen, love every chance they get to remind everyone how corrupt and soul-crushing the "mainstream" model has become.

he's not wrong, but this isn't really the best forum for him to pontificate for so long.

Why not though? This show has never been about only E3.
