FYI, the Mixlr Android app DOES keep playing when you turn the screen off, and it also sends audio over bluetooth.

Listening to Danny drive to E3 with the Giant Bomb crew makes me wonder....who is the EIC at Gamespot?
I don`t think they have any now.
Does this on iOS as well which surprised me since I always assumed iOS auto shut downs browser audio with the screen off. I guess that's just for video streaming like YouTube and I never used the browser to stream audio. Pretty cool.

He's been a big Gamespot fan ever since the Jeff era, so takes every opportunity he can join in
Yeah, you also have to remember that Danny is a huge fan of Jeff and the others from back in the Gamespot days, he called in to several of their shows etc. So one of the first things he was on when he came to America was the Bioforge playthrough GB did.
I`m betting that his bosses appreciate the crossover when he goes to GB to do content, but he`s gone far beyond that. Before the AltF1 podcast went free him and Drew recorded it in their free time, and him and Dan has recorded Danswers in the weekend etc.
E3 is a test for that stuff with EZA. EZA still pulls in pretty small stream numbers so the Twitch chat is mostly just the hardcore part of the community. With E3 the numbers are gonna be a lot higher, so expect the chat to turn to absolute shit like all other Twitch chats.
It turns off audio when you turn off the screen, but you can open the lock screen and press play to continue streaming audio. Good for listening to streams when cooking. At least, it works for youtube, but I don't see why it shouldn't for everything.
