There is only one VR game with Jonathan Frakes as far as I'm concerned
You know what I'm talking about

This is very close of simulating socializing with people without you actually having to do it.

I want people to see each other and hang out with in person and not being sensory deprived around your friends in this pretend socializing.

I don't know. It's not entirely rational but the idea of socializing but you are actually alone in your room is sad to me.

Anyway, I don't have fully formed thoughts about this but I don't like it.

Ah, so you haven't played a social VR game. Trust me, you couldn't be more wrong.

It's weird to me that the crew seems so approving of Tyler, when most of her humor is the same lame try-hard obscenity that made them turn their nose up at South Park.

I think most people give her the benefit of the doubt that most of that stuff comes from Ubisoft, and that she handles the garbage that they give her better than most could.

Played cards against humanity with random people across the world last night. Was fucking awesome. People can both socialize with your friends in real life and in strangers in VR. Both are fun.

I haven't. I have no I interest in VR.

But don't they try to replicate face to face interactions?

The illusion is disturbingly convincing. Even in The FOO Show, where the other people are actually pre-recorded and aren't even directly interacting with you, it feels like you're in the room with them. You aren't the only one to express the concerns of isolation, but I hope you get the chance to try it someday if only to understand.
