Giant Bomb @ E3 2017: <>

A Way Out and Need For Speed was cool. Better then that one year where they showed concept footage for Andromeda and actual alpha gameplay of that Criterion game that never came out

The end bit was dreadfully close to an Influencer Entrance, but not quite:

That ending just makes zero sense to me. You close out with a shitty trailer of a near 2 year old mobile game? If anything just put your Bioware teaser there, despite that being all of 10 seconds. Really terrible showing all around, but A Way Out did look great.

But people don't watch ea shooter on twicth.

EA is trying to change that apparently, hence this thing being littered with youtube and twitch personalities. I'm not saying it was a good conference, just that their direction was clear, and probably not something that is going to necessarily appeal to the GAF crowd. EA doesn't seem to run their pressers like the other companies. It's less about secrets and "bombas" and more about just brand reinforcement. You guys should expect this going in at this point. It's going to be all Madden/Fifa/Star Wars.

A Way Out has my attention and I think Need for Speed looks like it could be fun.

I don't see myself rushing out for Battlefront 2 day one, tbh.

This conference was whatever aside from that. If "influencers"/YouTubers/streamers is who you're going after, go for it.

This was pretty ok.

Josef Fares new game looks very interesting and battlefront 2 looks like a step-up from battlefront 1 by a wide margin, cautiosly optimistic about it.
