I think Jeff can only get kills with a shotgun. I don't think I've seen him kill anyone farther away than a few feet.
Honestly, that's how the crew seems to operate as a whole (to be fair though, that's a lot of the playerbase, shotguns are easier compared to rifles/snipers). They're not super confident in medium-long range. Alex especially seems to want to hunker down in a house with a shotgun and just wait.
But after seeing Jeff get 4 kills, I can see why he prefers playing solo versus squad. In squad a lot of your success will be determined by any weak-link on your team (strategy,communication, or a weak teammate). Many teams in squad will take it way more serious, optimize their looting, and have played more.

The numbers DO go up, though. They just go down from time to time too. The more you progress, the better the average weapon drops are.

Idk maybe they need to tell Dan they're not streaming because I get the feeling that he'd play better when he's not on stream. Jeff obviously is better solo. As for the others I think it depends on how great of a start they get.

BOTW is a bit uneven which doesn't help it at all. The main campaign isn't very good and the ending is extremely anticlimatic given how much buildup the game establishes for it. And while the shrines are enjoyable, the trade off with there being no actual good dungeons wasn't one I was left too happy with.
I still love that game, it might be my personal GOTY, but it's got some warts on it.

This is actually a good time to go for a crate, because it's sometimes uncontested with everyone still looting.
Those scenes where everyone is getting shot up and John McClane was a mile away looting helmets and energy drinks were some of my favorite parts of Die Hard.His idols are of the likes of Rambo, John Matrix, John McClane, etc

He's playing this the way he played XCOM. His squad assumes all the risk and he marches in and claims the glory.
Gloryhounds are not action heroes.
