Vinny and Drew's DayZ stream is the worst I've seen.

If anything would send someone that is on the fence about PC gaming, running back to console gaming, this video would be it.

It happens all the time when people stream Starcraft 2. Assholes will just watch a person's stream that is near their ladder ranking, and search for a game whenever the streamer does so they get matched up with them. Then they just watch exactly what the other people does on the stream and try to get easy wins.

People are the worst.

I would like them to give DayZ another shot, but on a premium stream (they can make the archive free later or whatever) and so that they don't show the server info. But they probably should wait until it gets fixed up a bit.

Audience interaction is the worst because it requires you to interact with 'fans', i.e. crazy people. Just look at the shitshow that was the people in line for questions at their recent PAX panel.

I think they may have wanted to have the chat there to help them out if they had questions. They ask the chat lots of questions on LYLS and RPCG

but in this case, the online element did them in.

That has to be a bug, right? If not, there would be no difference between Streaming or Progressive. That was how the old player worked if you chose progressive.

The Oktoberkast is the only WM show that pulled off live calls successfully.

They did serve a purpose in the Happy Hour. They told me that it was time to go grab some food and hit the bathroom because nothing interesting was happening for the next 10 minutes or so.

As I've said before: The only times I've ever seen live calls work for Whiskey is Radio Dave and Creeper Jeff.

There's no mode select for videos on Gamespot, so the fact that Giantbomb still gives two choices is the bug. If you set the resolution to "auto", you can skip ahead. But it never goes into 720p for me.

Random PC game and LOLS have been out of our lives for far too long. The Day Z stream showed that they're obviously capable of doing a Random PC game episode, so why haven't they?

I agree that fan interaction during TNT is mostly annoying and bad. The exception to this, however, is when you're playing a game where people can't fuck each other up.
