I can't listen to the stream so if someone can answer this I'd appreciate it:

Are Drew, Dave, Vinny, Patrick, Ryan, Brad and Jeff all still going to be producing content for a website called Giantbomb.com in the future?

If yes, great. If no, FUCK.

Seems like everyone in that room is coming.

Dave said "We are doing some awesome things on the engineering side" so it sounds like he's indeed coming.

Dave staying is good news. Still bummed about the Tested/Giant Bomb split and I have a hard time imagining how being bought by a giant publicly owned company will help their content. We'll see.

Well, as long as Giant Bomb is kept the way that it is, I'm okay with it.

Giant Bomb with actual funding can only be a good thing and, while I don't care much for GameSpot (even with John Davison's guidance), I'm glad that someone recognized how important Giant Bomb is.

I just don't want to be pelted with too much advertising. Please.

Jeff just needs to say what prevents what happened to him before from happening to him again. That alone would ease a lot of worries.

It's more like we're going back to the bar where we met the abusive lover, but there are brand new, kind people we're sleeping with now.

Also worth mentioning that the regime at CBS is very different than when we all left. It's not like we're going back to an abusive lover.

He seems pretty honest to me so far. Maybe he's convinced that it's not the same company anymore?

I think people are "reading between the lines" too much at the moment.

I do believe that he realized that long term the subscription model wasn't going to work.

EDIT: Sounds like Whiskey Memberships will be transformed into Gamespot memberships.

This is nuts, but I'm interested in what's coming. Set schedules and constant updates will be a required thing now, so silver lining right there.

Pretty hilarious that they're joining Gamespot of all places.
But honestly, to me this just means they'll be producing a lot more content with possibly more quality. If it stays honest and funny I'm fine with it.
