I may be biased because they hooked up with two of my favorite people.

I hope they got something absolutely great that we don't know about. From what I can tell, the website they've worked their asses off for was hijacked by Mythbusters.

Totally. I feel like Tested's previous content is only there because it being there is better than an empty site, but once the higher-ups realize that the videos are full of cursing that a 12 year old could potentially see, it's reboot-time.

You want to know what's really sad? Go check out Animevice and Screened. No one gives a shit about them, they were just purchased to get Tested as well. Notice that Giantbomb, Comicvine, and the old Tested logo still show up at the bottom.
 
I was always a bit more concerned about the BermanBraun thing than gamespot. Not that I think this spells DOOM or anything, the deal was far more of an unknown than gamespot's.

Comicvine is going to CBS with Giantbomb so it won't change. And nobody never cared for Anime Vice anyway.

It is really sad for Screened tho...Matt Rorie was really abandonned alone in a corner with that whole deal. Most people went to CBS. And by the look of things the other deal was to buy a website for Mythbusters so basically Screened doesn't have any purpose anymore.

Yeah, I like Adam and Jamie, but this new redesign just screams "we bought the domain for ourselves and have two bloggers attached to fill in while we do Mythbusters."

The difference between yesterday and today is night and day for the site, really. I just hope it's "Adam and Jamie's tested" just for the week or so due to the new launch and then they redesign it AGAIN and have less a focus on "in-your-face" and it's a process of all four of them.
 
Hang about if Will and Norm are actually happy and still getting paid, what is really so wrong.

And if Giant Bomb, Dave and Comic Vine are happy and still getting paid, what really is so wrong.

From what I've been reading, the other sites were really bought for the platform. Tested was just a bonus.

Screened.... I'm sorry to say Rorie, I give it six months before it's gone.

They are mentioned only in the second paragraph? WHAT THE FUCK fJFLDKSJFLSDKJF

Do you seriously think the guys from Mythbusters are going to be doing the majority of the work on the site? They'll probably pop in every once in a while, write like 1 thing a week then do the other stuff they do. I don't see why it's going to be anything but the old Tested with more resources and more doors open to them.

Tested was an awesome site before, but it's not like they had a brand worth hijacking. If these guys wanted to make a site that was oops all Jamie and Adam, why would they not have just done that without going to all the trouble of buying an entire group of sites?
 
If they change it back and this is just for promotional reasons, then fine. But it feels kind of shitty to rebrand it like this when Will and Norm will be doing Tested full time and Adam and Jamie aren't.

You mean buried, besides the fact that every single article after the first video being written by Will or Norm? Besides the giant image for this weeks podcast being one of the first things you see?

Why isn't Will and Norm's picture everywhere, their picture used to be plastered everywhere over the front page of Tested. Why isn't the background just a giant wallpaper of will-cumface
 
You're missing the good that will come from the Tested.com change...

People will come to Tested for Jamie and Adam, but stay because of Will and Norm.
 
Man, conflicted. On the one hand it's really cool that they're working with the mythbusters guys now. On the other hand, it looks like they're on their way to getting Triple-H'd out of the site spotlight.

Yeah I kind of don't get why they bought Tested at all if they're not putting any emphasis on Will and Norm and are changing the layout completely.
 
so how many people do you think will read about this and say "HOLY SHIT ADAM AND JAMIE ARE WORKING WITH WILL SMITH" before getting very confused

That would be the best case scenario. Worst is that they get shoved aside and you'll be hearing and watching 99% of Jamie and Adam. Which is not bad, I like the mythbusters, but I also like Will and Norm and what they did with Tested.

"Tested podcast with special guests Will and Norm."
 
Jamie&Adam's tested with Jamie&Adam's faces at the top, Jamie&Adam's Twitter account information slightly below that and an "about" page telling you how awesome Jamie&Adam are.

And that's all of the Jamie&Adam on the site. Then there's a bunch of videos from some 2 random dudes.

If I was a Mythbusters fan coming to this site, I would be mad disappointed.

The actual show Mythbusters has had progressively less and less Adam and Jamie since the 3rd or 4th season. If those people are only interested in all Adam and Jamie all the time, they've probably been pretty bummed out for a long time.
