Or the buyer should know what they're paying for?

Regardless of that, GB stepped up their game in terms of premium content over the past year so I don't get the complaints.

I was told I was buying special content and supporting 5 sites with the possibility of another site ( I belive there were rumors of a Book Whiskey Media Site at one point).

Now I'm down to 2 and there has been a lack of content.

GB has expressed it through 100 different times that they are still finding their footing in bringing content back to what it was.
 
If I could donate money directly to Dave, I think I would do it.

My yearly subscription just renewed itself. It's probably the last year I do it since I have no idea what the future holds for GB.

As a random example, I'm dying to show you why Kinect Star Wars is ter... what I think of Kinect Star Wars, but we don't have a way to do Kinect QLs right now. We'll get there with time.

True but if operations there were so fragil they should not have offered annual memberships. I know no company would ever do that but I still remember reading stories of people buying a year long subscriptions to EGM 2 months before they shut down operations. I understand that they are going through a difficult transition but as a customer I shouldn't be affected by it.

I understand that and I think its clear that a complete site revamp is coming soon. I'm looking forward to the updates as I hope the site can be what it was capable of being. With the death of Screened today is just a sad reminder of what the future could be.

Before, I used to sit there in the middle of my room, playing flight sims in a chair with a mouse and keyboard. My friends made fun of me, and my family wouldn't be seen with me in public.

Now, thanks to GB Enablers, I can proudly man the controls with my flight stick and IR tracking hat. My family and friends don't have to make excuses for me, and they even look me in the eyes at dinner time. Thanks, GB Enablers!
 
I'm late to the Ryan is a Dick discussion, but I wanted to add:

I agree Ryan is pretty much a dick. His attitude at times rubs me the wrong way (in particular his Marvel Zombie status whenever comics come up); however, I also remember his 3DS GameStop story where he swapped with the 13yo boy so the kid could have the more 'manly' blue 3DS, while Ryan took the more 'girly' purple one. So even a dick has his moments of non-dickness.
 
I have not hit the point where I'm willing to watch the guys fill out insurance forms. I am, however, willing to watch the guys watch training videos and take a sexual harassment awareness class.

I mean talking about games stuff, not bureaucracy. Like that bit there about Kinect Star Wars. What if it had been a quick update on some doodad on the site, and it showed on the front page?

edit: I mean look at this thread. Everyone's ears perked up when you posted. We love you guys and want to consume your thoughts (in a totally non-creepy way).
