wait, doesn't all pc sites ala newegg do that?

Do they? Basically I need a work pc and I don't need the monitor, keyboard and mouse. So I'm looking for a place where I can choose the components and have them build it without me having to build it myself.

Vinny recommended a company that built his pc that allowed him to choose all the parts. Does anyone know/remember the name?

Honesty, building a pc is pretty easy. I put mine together after doing a bit of research on what parts are needed and bought my own stuff. It will also make you the pc wizard to all friends & family from there onwards. It's amazing what you learn by managing your own pc.

I just always assumed. the equivalent of newegg in my country builds shit for you per standard. Just seemed like that was normal to me. dunno how they do it in the land of the free.

From my experience, that is not a good thing. >=[

Watched Doom II Breaking Brad Part 1 last night. So good.

I really enjoyed watching this a lot more than the Call of Duty one. The other one was kind of hard to watch just because the game was kicking his ass so severely. Although it did a much better job of actually "breaking Brad" which was entertaining. I think part of what makes this Doom II play through fun is the fact that he's pretty good at the game. Watching him strafe around rooms full of bad guys that if I were playing would just kill me in an instant.

Also nothing more hilarious than surprise rooms with just like 50 demons waiting inside.

Do you have a friend or relative who built their own PC?
Because it's actually really damn easy. It's 6/7 different components, you throw them in a case, and it works.

I was fussing about this a while ago as well, but the only remotely hard thing about it is picking the right parts, if you have someone to get you started with those, then you are set, and will be saving a lot of money in the process. The actual assembly is very easy, like building LEGO.

Yup. Building a PC is a lot easier than you would think it is. Everything snaps together nicely. If you can use a screw driver you can put together a PC. You just have to make sure the parts you buy are going to be compatible.

That's where it falls apart.

NewEgg offers 'combos' of compatible parts that you have to put together yourself, but they make sure they're compatible.

The GAF PC Build thread is a pretty good starting point if you just want to get an idea of what works with what.

Although yeah, that can get pretty tricky. Definitely the biggest pain the in the ass about building a tower when something decides it doesn't want to play with everything else.
Not surprising at all. Alex is the master of reviewing shitty games. GB seems to hand a game off to him when they know it's bad, they'll at least get an entertaining write up out of it.

different game. RPG game not out yet.
The South Park RPG game is being developed by Obsidian which just got hit with a bunch of layoffs. Interested to see how that effects it.

As in, hopefully that's not a bad omen of yet another POS South Park game.

the developer for that south park game made Story Hour: Adventure.

spoiler: they make shit games.

god damn it. they made a sequel to story hour. called Story Hour: Fairy Tales

Mark my words, Giant Bomb will cease to exist within one year.

Nah. It will still exist but with a whole new editorial staff who are young and hip and more in tune with today's modern gamer who likes playing Angry Birds on the train and playing Call of Duty with there bro's.
They will be reviewing iOS games and will also be using a 10 point review scale and they will have a sexy young lady wearing tight t shirts doing I Love Mondays.

Speaking of tight T shirts... Why are all of patricks t shirts a few sizes too small for him? Someone ship him some medium sized shirts.

Isn't this Giant Bomb already?

Looks fine to me.

Speaking of tshirts, I hope we hear something from Ryan or somebody about the shirts he went to discuss at the end of the Breaking Brad. : D
