I will say, I appreciate that they're going all out at least. This could have been a cheap release (GAF's own Feep is a voice actor for one of their other releases, I believe... no offense to Feep of course!) but to go out and get the cast means at least they know exactly who will potentially buy the series.
Squid Girl is a great anime, bro
I know the Persona 4 anime is better-than-average at best, but you know, my all-consuming fandom is the power behind my love for that series.
Plus the Vita version will be the first Persona game I ever play so I have to find ways to drop money on it somehow

Squid Girl is great. The dub, not so much.
And I think better than average is pushing it.
I just don't think the anime is a good way to spend your money. You're better off rebuying P3 on PSN when it comes out next week, for example.

I got the impression that Vinny will be back in a week or two. It really sounded like his return was fairly imminent.
They said something like the "Next few days will be crazy." Of course, it could be that Drew isn't taking a long vacation?
I don't think there has been a time over the past 6 months that "things" weren't "crazy," according to Jeff.

Depends on where you're from I guess. In Germany a man could easily take one year paternity leave.
In the US you're not legally entitled (see kids, that's how that word should be used) to any paid paternity leave, although a few states require employers to offer it (California included) and many employers offer it as bonus enticement/benefits. It is usually somewhere around a months time.

Also since they said Patrick and Alexis are filling in for pepple..... how is Patrick going to "fill in" for Drew / Vinny while they are away.
He is already in more then is fair share of Quick Looks and he never EVER misses a TNT.

Yeah... the greatest strength of Whiskeymedia sites were the small staff and their personalities. That is also the greatest weakness.

Man I really need to go to a video game event, it seems like that's what Streetpass was really made for. As it stands I'm lucky to get one or two when I'm out or about and like they say in the video they hardly ever have a puzzle piece.

It's like Streetpass only that you 'pass' people from your friendslist and anyone in a 3km vicinity. Near just floods your Vita with goods and you don't have to do a thing. It's nothing compared to the magic of Streetpass!

I dunno, I think you're being way too harsh on the P4 anime. Yes, it has pacing problems, and the animation is inconsistent, but I think they did a good job of condensing the game into 25 episodes, and they somehow managed to turn the protagonist into the best character.
Also to make this on topic, I've been rewatching parts of the endurance run after seeing the anime and this shit still cracks me up

You get one pink puzzle piece when you start up Streetpass 2, so from there it just goes viral.
To be perfectly honest I am REALLY looking forward to the time when Nintendo throws its hands in the game and makes a fully-fledged RPG around the concept of streetpassing. Imagine being able to junction your high-level Miis to stats or some shit, I don't know. Or tie it to some group online thing like Lumines or Noby Noby Boy where the more streetpasses people get the more able you are to defeat a boss, maybe via region or something.
