6/29 5:00PM [Premium] Dave's Descent into Dwarfdom

I cannot wait. I don't even know what it is, but Dwarves and Dave sounds like a good combination. One can never get enough D&D :P

Hi there game.

DF is an amazing piece of work, a bottomless well of personal narratives.

A word of caution though: I suspect that viewers new to Dwarf Fortress will need to make an effort to invest themselves in the goings on. I can't see this being content that you could just let wash over you.

This is what I'm worried about, but we'll see. If anyone can pull it off it'll be Dave.

I'm hoping Dave can finally explain what the hell is going on in Dwarf Fortress, cause I've tried and it isn't happening.
I honestly think the best way to get people on board for DF is to simply push a classic Let's Play in front of them (such as the oft-linked Boatmurdered). Whether the person is then lucky enough to go and click personally with the game's interface (the very biggest challenge) is another story entirely. But, by introducing the game through a prose recounting of a game's events, the abstract potency of ANSI tile graphics don't get in the way of a newcomer realising/admiring the sheer 'disaster movie' type of storymaking potential that DF churns out so effortlessly.

Forget GT vs Forza.

Burnout Paradise is still the real racing game of this generation.

I 100%'d it before the ps3 trophy patch then I got every trophy other then the one that requited the PS eye after.

I have a eye now and could get a easy plat but there was near 2 gigs of patches
