is this a good show?

I only really have time for the bombcast, tested, and a few other podcasts. I probably haven't been to gamespot since like high school.

I really like it, the gameshow format makes it feel different from other videogame podcasts.

Here is Giant Bomb in comparison to the rest of the internet.

Oh wow, these are because of them, right? P4A achievments:

BAM!

Yeah, yeah, I'm late to the party on this but still, very nice of them.

I doubt it, the Meat Dimension One is probably just a reference to something a lot of people found funny in that game and I don't get want you mean with the BAM one.
There was a P4A thread here before where people were arguing about Yu not being called Charlie and someone from Atlus joined in the conversation and said that he only ever watched the start of the Endurance Run and skipped the rest because he assumed they just hated the game for 150 episodes like they do at the start. Now obviously he probably wasn't the same guy who names the achievements but if they like the Endurance Run enough to name some after it I get the feeling that he would have found out or been told about it by someone else at Atlus instead of discovering they even like the game from GAF.

Yeah, going by his comments it seemed like Atlus had no idea Giant Bomb actually really liked Persona 4 because no one there really watched the Endurance Run.

yuck, I go to giantbomb and find this godawful ad

Atlus sent out a newsletter about the last episode of the Endurance Run telling their fans to watch.

I tried to listen to 2.

It's a fucking train wreck.

The gameshow aspect isn't taken seriously so it's just annoying constantly ending/awkwardly starting subjects and then yelling UM PEOPLE GOT POINTS I GUESS.

The closest I ever saw about reaction to the Endurance Run was Jeff half-apologising to Atlus dudes whenever he ran into them in E3 videos. Granted, I wasn't looking very hard.

I'm still at work for TNT. The chat there knows all so I need to find out if they know how to fix a solenoid switch, I'm getting a new fixer pinball machine tonight and I think that's what's going on.

Based on looks alone, since I haven't payed it, Shootmania looks awful. The map designs and what appears to be a complete lack of art direction just make it look so...awful.

It depends mostly on whether or not you like the new/old guys at GameSpot. It looks like the format is different every week, unless they're still playing the games this time around.
