I agree they need to up their premium game. They mention do many interesting things on the podcast like returning to kingdom hearts or what was it? Some crazy space game that brad mentioned. Idk. I really wish they would be a little more liberal in showcasing parts of gaming history. The tony hawk/neversoft TNT was great. How have they not rigged up a pso1 quicklook/TNT yet? Or how about a day long playstation1 showcase? I know there's an infinite amount of crazy interesting stuff to do so I'm not really in a hurry.
Dude, they need to get those GoPros head mounted and play some Gamecube Crystal Chronicles. It'd be perfect. It'd be like watching poker, they could cut between the POV view of the gameboy screen and whats happening on the TV.
Oh man, Four Swords was awesome. Forgot about that game. How is there not a proper DS four swords?
No, I think they were talking about Endless Space and then Brad was like "oh kinda like that one insane game from a decade ago.. and then he got really excited and was like 'does this mean there needs to be a blah blah TNT?'"
It started with a C, maybe. Coccoon? Calalafldk something. Maybe a sequel to Descent or something. I have no idea it was like three weeks ago now. And it was just an example. I think no matter what things will get VERY interesting VERY soon. The next gen is imminent and the next year of gaming is going to be crazy fascinating either way.
Galactic Civilisations is not nearly ancient or random enough to qualify for Random PC Game, though. It's a great game with great humour and writing and solid mechanics for a 4X space game, but that doesn't mean it would hold up for live commentary.
More board games please. TNTs or a new feature or whatever.
On the extreme end of that scale, I'd love them to try recording something like a weekly sitdown with an accessible pen & paper game, with someone who knows their shit GMing. They've got enough comedy/improv chops to make roleplaying a band of dysfunctional adventurers entertaining, I've no doubt.
Them going home as it's the weekend? What is it about the dave radio shows that takes it so long to put up?

If I recall correctly, Jeff mentioned they went out of space while recording. They made a backup but it'll take little longer to have that up on the site. What is it about the dave radio shows that takes it so long to put up?

As a HUGE fan of the game...
I completely agree.
It's terribly boring to watch someone play.
Can be really exciting if someone writes a cool story about it though: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/161570/blog/galciv-2-war-report-final-entry/
Sorry for the small tangent but are there any other stories/blogs like this one?
GB staff posts on here more than their own forums. Just sayin
I'll agree that the subscriber content has been pretty lacklustre since just after Xmas, but I feel the GB legacy and will resub. Though I still haven't bought a t-shirt, mostly because they ones on offer didn't take my fancy.
It's disappointing that since being bought out they haven't been able to get permanent recording space, but I have hope that this will change soon.
Right guys, right?
Have you read about the decade long Civ game?
Their own space for TNT is a step in the right direction, just hope we won't be having these same concerns in another 5 months. Shame on CBSi really, buying up a website that has video content as its bread and butter and not really facilitating them. Kind of hard to 'prove themselves' as a good acquisition when their hands are tied.

Brad's 'taking the week off'... leaving?
I Love Mondays this week says they are Quick Look EX'ing the new Transformers game. I hope it's not shit because if it is then that would be the worst QL EX ever.
No P4A for TNT? Eh?
After being burned on the completely dead online community for Day-Z, I need to rekindle my faith in the dinosaurs vs. human genre.
Bah, sorry, I meant Dino D-Day. I don't know where that came from. What's dead about Day-Z?
So if Brad's out.... and Patrick's out....
The real question:
Drew or Dave on the Bombcast?
True. I've been posting on GB boards for several years now and I still do (I think the community is great overall), yet the place where a GB crew member (Jeff) responds to me first is NeoGaf. Kinda sad when I think about it.GB staff posts on here more than their own forums. Just sayin
