Giant Bomb Thread 2: A thread on a popular internet message board

I want an additional random Jeff and Vinny only 90 minute podcast. They bounce off of each other so well and the wild Jeff stories it often leads to would make it perfect.

More Vinny on everything makes everything better to be fair.

I'd resubscribe for that.

Really looking forward to the PAX panel being put up. I was there, here's some highlights/hype:

- Jeff faked his death several times.
- An audience member was accused of having a stroke.
- The same audience member scared the panel by approaching the stage.
- At least one audience member asked a good, poignant question.
- I hope you like Dave Lang.
- Drew's an effin' hero of dexterity.

Aren't Giant Bomb fans already stalker-ish enough?

Yeah it gets mad creepy in here at times, some of you guys need to take a step back.

Anyway, I was wondering if someone who met the guys at PAX this weekend could give me a brief approximation of what each crew member smells like. My set of dakimakura are really lacking that personal touch. Also if anyone collected some locks of their hair I would be more than will to paypal you €100 for each one (double for Vinny).

Hell yeah Team Chaotix theme and Knuckles rap. Sonic games have the best worst music.

Though Knuckles is a liar, he totally does chuckle.

Does anyone know a good way to download the full Jeff stream from yesterday?

http://www.twitch.tv/gbjg/b/330975844

My browser plugin that I usually use to rip these videos only downloads the first two hours. Any suggestions for a program that can download it all?
Using DownloadHelper?

Start the video. Click download.
Scrub to ~2hrs 10mins. Click download.
Scrub to ~4hrs 10mins. Click download.

Justin/Twitch divides the FLV's into 2hr chunks and loads them up as needed.

I was on my way walking to PAX on Saturday, getting excited for the Kojima panel, when Kleppick walks out in front of me.

I unintentionally stalked <half a block> behind him all the way to the convention, but didn't want to bother him and be 'that annoying guy' before the shitstorm that is a convention.

Should have just said hi to him. The guys are really friendly and love to chat with the community. Hell, everyone is friendly at PAX and are there to meet people. That's the point of going. ;)

"Hey, Patrick? Hey I'm <name>, really cool running into you here. Big fan of GB! Nice to meet you."

He is a dude. You are also a dude. Shouldn't be that difficult.

*translator's note: modicum means a little bit and I was being facetious. However I can understand not wanting to bother an internet superstar, because if the internet has taught me anything it is that if i want to do something, a billion others will want to do it with a billion times more enthusiasm and why be just another one of those guys. Also at pax 2010 I saw Justin Wong and said "omg, it's Justin Wong! Hey Justin Wong!" and dude just kept on walking.

;_;

Yeah, you really should said hi to him. :) The GB guys are really approachable, nice guys.

I met Jeff at California Extreme this year -- he was checkin' out a Rush 2049 cabinet and I introduced myself and chatted with him for a minute or two. Extremely nice dude. They are just people like you or I. Saw Ryan and Drew there too but didn't get the chance to say "what up".
