*HUGS my Ethernet adapter*

I know many will disagree with me, but I think it's inexcusable bullshit the Wii and Wii U don't have a port on the console. Wifi sucks for gaming.

Good pickup from Ryan on the Trash Panic connexion, was my first thought.

THE OPINIONS AND METHODS PORTRAITED BY LITTLE INFERNO ARE NOT SHARED BY NINTENDO INC.
Haven't actually seen that disclaimer anywhere, does that mean Nintendo endorses this?

This game would be fun on my ipad for like 1 or 2 dollars. The art direction is really great. Couldn't see paying 15 dollars for this.

Not making excuses or anything, but fun fact:

I've never plugged an ethernet cable into any video game system since I have owned video game systems with ethernet ports

Whoever disagrees with that is flat out wrong. I wouldn't be able to use the ethernet port, but the option would've been nice. At least without having to buy extra proprietary products to use fucking basic functions. That's some despicable Apple type of bullshit and Nintendo should be criticised for it.

It's inexcusable I agree. Ethernet chipset costs little to nothing. I play ps3 and 360 over wired only.

Yeah, and 99% of the time you plug a cable in and it goes. Wifi issues are VERY hard to diagnose when you don't know much about it.

Wii U doesn't have an ethernet port? WTF is this shit?!

Nintendo still doesn't completely understand online and probably never will unless they buy a company that can handle it.

Great game! Part of me hopes that the game just totally goes off the wall with the narrative and turns into a different game - but that's probably my crazy imagination.

Why in God's name would they not test to see if the internet would work in the room they're doing the big livestream in?

Am still confused why some games can't be played whilst they sort it out but oh well.
Hopefully they work something out.

EDIT: Fair enough their giving a proper chat about the issues now.
Weird how Wii U connected before and not now.

I assumed part of them wanted to have the 'fresh' experience like how a user would get it out of the box, and part of them assumed it would just work. I guess having weird internet would cause these them to rethink things.

game looks cool, but it seems like it would get old after 15 minutes.

I'm still confused a little on the mechanics of it. If you can start a fire at any time, why would you worry about the fire dying out? Do you get some kind of multiplier for keeping the fire going longer? Is the point of the game just to unlock all the items you can use?

Completely agree though. That seems like a game I would get bored of relatively quickly.
