Barring the ugly UI, Far Cry 3 has taken me completely by surprise with how good it looks. All of the early impressions and marketing looked terrible and yet I'm kind of intrigued by it now.

It's also sitting pretty at a 90+ on metacritic. People seem to be really loving this.

Everything Duffyside says is just a non sequitur. I learned that on the OT side. It doesn't make sense any other way.
It was a comment on the distinction you and Jeff made of the characters in the intro. Vinny and him characterized them as a bunch of kids with black cards and trust funds that have the luxury of going on all-paid "extreme" adventures to exotic tropical islands (the kind that are usually douchebags and deserve to be "made slaves") while you characterized them as just a group of "middle class" kids on a vacation, probably out of college. That was the whole joke.
Of course you can assume we are having a laugh at your expense like you always do and call us names

As one of several people who spent half of yesterday wrestling with pre-built computers instead of doing QLs on them, please let me urge you not to buy a pre-built computer.

First off, ME2 was given the award on a provisional basis on the condition that ME3 be a better game, so prepare to be stripped of your award, Bioware!
Also, they talked about how multiplayer probably won't be in ME3, that Bioware won't trim 10 hours off of the game as a cost-benefit analysis, and... the hope in their voices for ME3.
Such a bummer. Most disappointing game of 2012 confirmed.
