He almost kind of seems constantly on edge/in host-mode, not allowing for even a half second of silence (like in the Burn: Cycle Random PC Game). I like Ryan well enough in small doses but his really deep referential humour and controlling host persona kind of gets tiring, or maybe it's the 'try hard' impression that others have brought up.
I think my own sense of humour is more in line with Jeff/Vinny/Drew/Dave/Brad, they seem a lot more laid back.

Jeff, Vinny, Drew, Dave (and a lot of cases Brad) just have that naturally funny aura to them. They all seem like they never have to put effort into being entertaining. Ryan and Patrick are enjoyable, but I don't feel like I can't listen to them for hours at a time like I can with the others.
Has any other premium members noticed terribly slow download times from GB lately?
I usually download videos, because their player doesn't run as good for me. So I usually download videos from GB, and I used to get at least 700-800kbps on my connection. Lately it's been going super slow though, I'm lucky to get 100kbps, and at those speeds I can't even bother trying to download the HD videos, because even the low res ones take forever to download now. I'm trying to download TNT, and it's gonna take all night at this rate.

They could probably beat Pokemon Snap! on the live show if either of them remember enough of the secrets. I got it for my brother at Christmas, since we had been talking about renting it from the store when we were younger, and he almost 100% it within two hours or something. It was nuts. I didn't remember the game being that short at all, haha.

I always thought his team was cool. He had Marill (before Gold and Silver were out! plus Marill > Togepi), Scyther, Venonat...
Also, he wasn't a massive creeper like Brock.
He totally was a creeper, just he was a creeper for Professor Oak instead of girls.

Schala, the official reason was that Brock was removed because they thought he might be seen as a racist caricature. Turns out people loved it, and by time word reached Japan they'd replaced him, so they shoved him back in for Johto.
