This game is really bad.

It must have been a real lonely place being an N64 owner.

What..

The N64 had amazing platformers, good shooters, and local multiplayer was a blast. The ps1 was better in some genres, and not everything from that early 3d era has aged well, but the N64 was plenty of fun.

Did anyone else ever get a response regarding trying to cancel the auto-renewal on the yearly subs after that happened last week? I never got a response and it's been over a week :(. I've (almost ironically) become unemployed since then, and the $50 is hardly make or break either way, but I'm just disappointed I was never responded to. Was wondering if anyone else ever heard back either way?

Lol, good job, Vinny. This about sums up the video :) :

is the whole Brad platinumed Demon's souls thing just a meme? because watching the Dark Souls QL he doesnt seem to have played DS at all

He played a little Dark Souls, I believe, to see what the games were about but I think he stopped because it was in the middle of the busy videogame season. I think that's the extent of his exposure to the Souls games based on what I remember from Bombcasts and whatnot back then.

Maybe he secretly loves the Souls games but is afraid to mention it lest he feel the wrath of Jeff and Ryan.

Them figuring out the Mankey thing and then totally talking themselves out of it is hair pullingly frustrating.

The mankey is... real? I thought it was just an IRC in-joke from 15 years ago.

God I'm old.

I played Dark Souls a little past the gargoyles, can't remember what the area was called. Killed one more minor boss thing in an enclosed room before it opened up into a big open forested area, then I never had time to play it again. C'est la vie.

You should really play it, on PC preferably but whatever you can get. If you can't take down a boss summon a friend, don't be ashamed at looking at faqs and always keep your shield up. Make it your next breaking Brad, you can do it!

Dark Souls Durante Edition Endurance Run with you and Patrick?

Make it so.

I agree with the first sentence but the second one seems like a real non sequitur. :p

Catching up on the Pokemon Snap video, it's pretty entertaining so far. Never played much of Snap back in the day, I don't know why but I find the game's ability to judge photos is kind of impressive for the time (when it works, it badly scored a lot of good photos).

So, I'm thinking about getting some money together to mail them something stupid, akin to the massive box of twinkies they got back in the WM offices.

Ideas?

I'm an English major who's been thinking a lot lately about switching majors for fear of exactly what you're going through.

Journalism (online is the only one still worth it). PR. Professional Writing. Tech Writing. Business Writing.

All are infinitely more practical ventures for the same general skillset.

Eh. Just a shit time. English major in school. Didn't realize it wouldn't get me a job. Can't even get into retail or fast food because I've never worked before. Living with my folks at least keeps bills to a minimum.

I knew a girl who graduated with an English degree in 2008, right when the economy blew up. She never found a job anywhere for two years. She ended up moving back in with her parents and going back to college to get a degree that could actually get her a job. She currently works as a cashier in her old college's bookstore.

Yeah. I'll probably end up doing the same. I'm 23 now, and I really don't think I'll be out of my parents house by the time I'm 25.

you're still pretty early.

I almost don't dare to say it, but sometimes (very rarely) Vinny goes too far with his effects :P

I was watching the Fortune Street TNT last night and it's peppered with animated gifs that are just a little annoying and blocking the screen for way too long. He has definitely improved his skills over the last year.

I think that was Drew. Wasn't Vinny playing Fortune Street on the couch?
