I just grabbed my Controller S and Duke out of storage and I just confirmed that the Controller S is still much much better. I have medium sized hands and the Duke is a monster.

I don't have large hands by any means but I still think the Duke is so so good. It's not perfect for everything, but the triggers were exactly right. I ended up buying all of my racing games on the XBox because that was the only controller that could do them right.

I have large hands, love the original controller. The 360 is still perfection.

"That would be appropriate for this."

Where's that story Drew?

I'm proud to say I've never touched a Halo game in all my years. Although it did cost me a few friendships in college.
I can't think there's much to be ashamed of in regards to having played Halo. I think it's consistently been the best FPS on consoles since it's initial appearance, and the best coop, including PC.

Wish I was watching this but my laptop is in the shop. Nice phone app thing though.

I've always wanted gb to do another run at te halo games so I hope this is somewhat archived.

This is oddly hilarious. Instead of just hanging out with friends that like halo, you cut them out of your life entirely.

I've had some great times playing Halo over the years, from college LAN parties in the dorms, drunken multiplayer, endurance co-op sessions, and beating all of them on legendary. Halo is a fine console shooter, and top of the genre really.

Not sure if it's been mentioned already in between all this Halo talk, but there's a new Encyclopedia Bombastica tomorrow at Noon. Jeff'll be talking about Target Earth.

The Maw's Warthog run is still the greatest ending to any Halo game so far. The endings to all other Halo games are disappointing compared to it.

They did it: Halo 1 really was great. And they played it in style, on the Xbox 1, where Halo should be played. None of that Anniversary nonsense (but I loved Anniversary).

Is there a generally agreed upon "best" Halo, like does one noticeably stand above the others

Everybody's answer on that is going to differ - for me, Halo: ODST stands out the most.
