That's a great question. I've never done testing on devices I don't have contact with, so I don't really know how to send out the app to people for testing, but I assume I need the UUID of the device in question to add to my provisional account.

If anyone is interested in helping, send me a PM, along with your favorite P4/Teddy/Endurance Run quote, and I'll get back to you in a day or so when I research how this all works.

wow! PM sent.

watched this live stream for 5 seconds. Game looks like a Dark Souls rip-off.

Everyone at Double Fine needs to start working on this game NOW.

The 3 Classes seem fun as well, stuff I could see in an actual monster hunter game. In fact I probably like the bow class in this more then the one in MH.

Did Ryan just say emblemic

That's

No
It's my favorite new word. I'm going to propagate this.

Really liking how many things DF has in the works. The Monster Hunter format never really appealed to me, but maybe this could be a good middle ground for getting me into it. Really digging the influences for the visuals, though. Beerzerker looks hilarious.

I have no idea what this humble bundle is. Is it associated with the game Amnesia? Does it have anything to do with all those Indie humble bundles? What are these guys talking about.

Ryan liked Muramasa and Bayonetta so much that he convinced me to buy them. Ryan also admitted to liking Akira (he mentioned that he loved the Akira laserdisc on the podcast).

My theory is that Ryan is the secret anime otaku. Wasn't Ryan the one who first tried to oust Brad as the "anime editor?" Typical self-hating anime nerd behavior.

He brought up the issues he has with Monster Hunter which really seems to come down to animation priority in combat and controls. This game seems to share those aspects.

He mentions that pretty often. Muir nailed it pretty well with the God of War comparison where you can just button mash and then dodge when you see something coming and there being no real consequences.

It basically boils down to this:

Ryan always seems like he's more interesting in the trappings of a game than the actual game itself

Ryan probably has a subscription to Crunchyroll. He's just doing the anime snob thing and poo-pooing the series everyone knows.

It basically boils down to this:

It's not really honest to separate the 'trappings' of a game from the game, as if they weren't part of the same whole.

Oh yeah, I get it. I love Dark Souls. I want to have to look for openings and commit to attacks in my melee combat.

Gotta love Jeff's all star review. Half of it is on the roster xD

Gotta love GB reviews not giving a crap about review formats.

Presentation:
Outside of three, the review is very light on images.

Graphics:
The kerning on the text is very sharp.

Sound:
Nonexistent.

Multiplayer:
Very little discussion is being generated by this review.

Overall (NOT AN AVERAGE):
Overall, this review was a bit of a mixed bag. For fans of Giant Bomb, there are some things to like and some things not to like.

7/10
